Vergil's Opening Cinematic (SPOILERS)

Oh. I never noticed the Beowulf poster in Dante's office. I guess it was overshadowed by Lady's boobz.
So the claim of men having two heads and only enough blood to support one at a time is true? Young grasshopper, knowing how to hit and swing a sword is not enough, you gonna need to train yourself to not be distracted like that. :P

You'll have it when the game comes out. Not too fond of this trend of spoiling content before a release.
We're really at odds, since time never comes quickly enough! At last for me!

I know. I was talking about Vergil since he's probably the only one we'll get some story out of his cutscenes. Lady and Trish will probably just fool around.

I remember a preview where they said Trish and Lady's cutscenes will show what they did while Nero and Dante were doing the fights.

it would be cool to see Trish doing stuff inside the Order.

Meh. I'd prefer to see her during the evacuation process. Maybe cooperating with Lady. That "fooling around" you talk about. Which seems to be the route they've chosen.

Many of us have been waiting for such a long time for this. It's still a bit surreal to actually see something new from the original series. A bit dissapointed if that's all there's gonna be for an intro. Seems more like a teaser to me. Just a bit dissapointed, though. It's still awesome enough. And it remains to be seen what the game as a whole holds in store!

SO I saw the rest of Vergil's opening.
A little better cutscene opening, but I honestly expected more then just that. The only thing I really liked about the cutscene was how yamato looked and the sound of it being sheathed...that was about it.

Hmm... well, on the one hand, it was cool. On the other hand, aside from raising who Nero's mother MIGHT be, the opening doesn't really expand the story. The ending cutscene is going to need answer a lot more if they intend to make anything concrete out of Vergil's story. Or, maybe we'd all get lucky and they actually include a couple more scenes for him. Seriously, 2 more in the middle would do wonders.

Hay guy's here is the full opening, it also shows off the title Screen for Vergil Which i think looks pretty cool giving a sort tour of the city around Dante's shop. it also shows how you can pick between English and Japanese right at the start, that might be for both Asia and japanese editions of the game. this also shows the Sparda Statue inside the church that both Nero and Dante Destroyed at the start of DMC4 is under construction.

I really don't care I loved the trailers...both of them...Its still too early to judge anything....but from all I have seen the game looks amazing...Yea you are going to get you're nitpickers here and there but the game is offering alot than what was released years ago and people are hyped!!! why wouldn't they be.... So I don't know about you guys but this is a buy from me...getting an imported copy of the game....and that trailer with Vergils VA is amazing....

My apologies if this has been brought up earlier in the thread, but it's interesting to note that Vergil doesn't seem to have his necklace. From what I recall, he always had it in DMC 3. So, where is it? Maybe he found it one year prior to the events of DMC 3 and Dante did too and they ended up fighting and Dante lost and that's why he has a score to settle with Vergil in the beginning of DMC 3?

It's just a graphical/rendering thing. The amulet wasn't rendered around his neck in DMC3 either (in fact they show it only when Vergil takes it in his hand, like when he's talking to Arkham at the top of the tower), but he had it nonetheless.

Ah :) Good to know! I'm gonna go with him having it tucked away in his shirt then haha
