But if that IS the case, at least no one can say New Vergil had the worst story, because at least he didn't just screw a random woman then left like a dirt bag father.

Also, this would actually make sense this is what Sparda did too.

That remains to be seen. We don't know that for sure.

Even if it wasn't the whole cutscene, I very much doubt that Capcom will give us any more of a "real" explanation than what was in that footage.

I'm hoping for more, of course, but I'm not really expecting all that much. Not from a realistic perspective, anyway.

Yeah I can see that being the case. As I said, that fade to black effect at the end to me looks like they edited the original cutscene to hide stuff.
Meh, time will tell I guess.

I'm really sorry that I have to say this, but this is how I feel about not only DMC4SE, but almost all new games in general really.

When I saw Vergil's intro, it only cemented my feelings on the matter. :/

in the video description the guy states that it was indeed cut...so it goes to say that the cut scene may be longer...the only reason he was able to capture it was for a video preview on a European site...so there is a lot cut off

Considering the original release date was on the same day as E3(june 18th). They probably expected people would spend their money on other things.
