it should be noted that on the trailer it says "click here for information on your location" one of those blue boxes. i live in the uk and it directed me to the face book group telling me that information on how to attain said preorder will be available soon on the site.
 
Erm...just a question here.
Do you think Vergil will only be usable in his own story mode?
If that is the case how much gameplay will you think is added to the game?
 
I just remembered that long time ago someone on this froum had a dream about DmC and one of Virgils power was a doppelganger (named Nelo Angelo) which Virgil was using to collect info on demons from the inside or something like that and i think Dante runs into Nelo and fights him since he doesnt know he's part of Virgil.
 
It's Capcom, though, you know they'll release some more random DLC, and then later on release a DmC: Devil May Cry "Stylish Edition" like they did with RE5 Gold :p

You can thank the whole SFxTekken drama for that. That game sold pretty badly because of the dlc on disc drama and with a sticky issue like DMC reboot they didn't want to repeat that. honestly i had a similar weakness as I've always been a Vergil fanboy personally and i was already personally excited for the game. In my opinion i think Vergil is designed to appeal to old school fans judging from his environments, enemies, and moves
 
SSSensational Edition, and the cover will be one of those holographic images that changes when you move it, and it'll just ne Dante using Tremor on Poison for the SSS grade :p

Although, in all honesty, a super-special edition with a holo cover of Dante's image changing to his DT would be really damn cool.

I really do hope Capcom eventually makes a special edition for NA. And a holographic cover would just be the beez kneez.
 
Does anyone think some of the plot idea's are going to be used from Dante's original arc (like when he smoked and stuff) i ask cuz when you watch the trailer in the begining Vergil has his hair down (oh no hes emo -.-) and he looks like he got the **** kicked out of him like Dante did in his debut
 
It's possible, but at the same time the Announcement trailer was less about showing off any actual definitive story details, and more just to quickly tell you the new direction it was going.

Well it's been confirmed that Dante doesn't smoke anymore, but everything else besides Dante's design they've kinda kept if you think about it. He's still angry, he has some type of amnesia because he can't remember his past, Rebellion still transforms into other weapons just like in the debut demo, and his name is still Dante. Lol
And I also thought Vergil looked similar to the beat up Dante!
 
Funny how Vergil just put MGR to shame.

Anyway, looks amazing. I hope it isn't on-disk. I just read that it isn't, but congratulations to NT for doing something great.

Also, Dante's alternate costume for All-Stars will be this Vergil.

How do you know Dante's alternate costume will be Vergil?

oh i know he has been confirmed not to smoke (I similar to probably you read and watch every piece of media regarding this game i can find XD) and just judging from the debut trailer old (new?) Dante was going to be sadistic,quiet, and aggressive. Since they have revealed his character he has only been the third and the rest seems to be mimicking old Dante but that is of course speculation on my part form the debut trailer and current media. Something I do find weird is I think he is supposed to be mimicking something greater then what he is and his character arc will be him growing out of that what I don't get is why they don't show Dante's personality beyond just mimicking old Dante. :/

Well he appears to be mimicking old Dante because from the very beginning Ninja Theory wanted him to have a similar personality.
And they have shown bits of Dante being more serious, such as after Dante kills the Hunter and is holding his amulet remembering his mother.

Fair point though I did find it weird when they said they thought games like bayonetta were stupid (paraphrasing here) yet they wanted DMC and yeah I saw that scene I was interested since it showed him having a personality beyond being cocky.

I can't wait to see Dante's character growth in the game, I have a feeling it will be quite extraordinary to all these people who think he's just shallow and cocky.
