why doesn't america have an "international aisle"? i was just on omegle and the guy i was talking to went on about how stores in the uk have a FRIKIN INTERNATIONAL AISLE!!! THATS FOOD FROM EVERYWHERE!

Might just be the countries that England/Britain has colonized. We've got international aisles in every supermarket here in New Zealand, too. It's BLISS because I sometimes really do miss stuff from home and I don't have to venture into rural areas to track down a tiny store that sells them. They're just readily available at the local stores

Current rant:
bloody birds have made a nest in our ceiling right in our room. So all night it's been scuffling and flopping about up there. I'm tempted to ram a broom against it but if that scares them enough to make them fall out the nest, I'll feel really crap.

Considering we've already taken a ton of different foods from different countries, maybe our stores just consider the whole thing an "international aisle".

After all these years and actually seeing me spend hours drawing on computer, my mom comes along, sees this chibi I doodled on paper, expresses approval... and then asks me if I was the one to draw it.
No mom, I keep this pixie in a shoebox under my bed and she does all my drawings, all I do is sign my name.

Weird thing happened today. My friend was trying on some clothes so I took her girl for a walk in her pram to stop her being bored.

Then this lady approaches and starts saying how cute she is and somehow thinks she is my child.

This the leads her to ask if I will be putting off going to university and how brave I was being a teenage mother. Eh!?

So I tell her the actual mother was 37 and in the shop with me, and that I'd graduated a few times from university.

This then Leads her to what I can only describe as a full on lecture about me doing the right thing not having children yet and how I should wait till my mid 30s because babies ruin bodies, finances and marriage. Again, what the heck!?

Not sure if she was well meaning but came off totally wrong or what. So I toldy friend and she just laughed it off.


I've had this kind of thing before, but usually it's just some passing comment of pity, not a total lecture.

Yes I damn well did report you and your useless slapper of a girlfriend for benefit fraud. Because you are a filthy scrounger and a thief and my family doesn't pay 40% tax to fund your luxury holidays and nail salon appointments. You should be on benefits because you NEED to, not because you're too damn greedy and want wages you don't get taxed for plus full benefits you are NOT entitled to.

Holy sh*t, homophobia is rampant, I see. Somebody on YouTube on Angry Joe's review of Dragon Age: Inquisition wrote a piece that made no sense whatsoever. It was ignorant as all hell, and the best thing is... he doesn't allow replies.
And get this: he's got like 1500 likes. I can't believe this... are all these people ignorant people from the religious states of the U.S. or something? F*ck... I never knew it was that bad. The Netherlands (my country) seems like an alternate dimension to where this guy comes from. The guy needs to get back to school or read a book, for the love of sanity.

So I just wrote a huge wall of text on how his comment made no sense, not logically, not scientifically. I'm not betting to get a lot of likes, besides, it's a huge wall of text... people don't have the time or attention span for anything nowadays. I just wanted to get it out there.

Anyway, that sh*t just annoys me, it really does. So many people who don't take the time to think for even *a few seconds* about things... and they take pride in it. Once again, faith in humanity lost.

I was in such a good mood this morning, despite it being my 30th birthday and my life a total waste. Last night the filling fell out of my wisdom tooth, leaving a huge hole, but it couldn't get me down. I got my period today, but that's okay, at least I don't have to worry about it for Christmas and New Years.
And then I see that after the ray of hope and short bliss, overgrown children have started it again. And my mood ain't so good anymore. :grumpy:

Well, f*ck all kinds of duck (yes, I'm borrowing that from Hellsing Abridged). So, I ordered one of Ieyasu's luminite things, and now it looks like I might not get it--because lo and behold, Funimation has a stick up their asses about "copyright". Never-f*cking mind that he sculpts these things from scratch, or that they're simply inspired by DMC--no, of course not.

How the hell would Funimation even catch wind of something like this? Like sh*t...they aren't being mass produced, here.
