Thats like equivalent of £104 here and cheaper than the Wii and 360. The 360 is cheapest in most retailers here and PS3 is still £299.99 (approx $570) everywhere and Sony have said there will be no price drop.

Oh, guys, heres a little fun fact, 360 AND PS3 are getting a price cut, just not as steep as the one the OP posted. At least thats what Game Informer said, and they are usually right about these things. 360 getting a $50 price cut and PS3 getting a $100 price cut. So PS3s would be $299 now! But the price cut supposed to be either in fall or holiday season.

Seen a lot of bundle offers (in UK anyway) for PS3 lately and we were actually going to get one but then our home cinema system came with a free upscaler DVD player which is almost Blu-Ray quality so we thought we'd stick with that for now...a PS3 will still be on the cards for the future though I should imagine...just need it to have some games I'd play is all.

If the ps3 was the same price as the 360, it would be no second thoughts for me, I'd get a Ps3.
The only reason 360 remotely holds a candle to the Ps3 is because it's so cheap.
If the Ps3 was 199 at it's lowest the 360 would be crushed beneath it's iron boot.
