The flag issue

Does Ninja theory deserv to pay tribute to their country with flag on main character's jacket?

Its not that big a deal as its just a flag on a shirt and doesnt neccesarily make him british now.
I probably sure he's from europe anyway in the old canon being Italian-American or something.
I probably would have made him South African anyway. Just cause I can.

The British flag would have made no sense in Heavenly sword as it takes place in a world without countries same with Enslaved.

nothing dude i love the uk because it has everything i love football,dubstep,the awesome movies and the best comedians.and also alot of friends.but i think the flag thing is not necessary even if the old dante had a jap or an american flag on him i wouldnt like it cuz its not cool for dante imo.but the new dante can have whatever flag on him but its best he dosent

I remember I used to have something against Britain ( I forget what I thing it was that they were too polite (steriotypical isn't it) ) but then I saw eddsworld and I realized my argument was invalid
, now britain is one is one of my favorite countries

im saying ninja theory couldn't fit a UK flag into their main character's design like they did with dante.

the union jack is a fashion trend right here in the U.S of A. i see the union jack on all sorts of clothing here, in fact there is a belt i want that has the union jack on it. it can be trendy to whomever desire it trendy. usually i see teenagers and younger adults wearing the union jack on their clothes.

So most gamers know Ninja theory made Heavenly sword and Enslaved but these same gamers do not know that they are making DmC as well in a collaboration project with Capcom?

I never said they had to implement a tribute on main character, but in the game. They haven't done that with Enslaved or Heavenly sword. Noone defending the "Tribute" idea with DmC has pointed out for me a clear tribute in Enslaved or Heavenly sword.

How often do you see someone wearing a union jack on their clothing? Every day? Every week? Every month?
A person wearing union jack clothing - not a clothing with union jack on it.
And do you realize there is 52 states in USA? If you live in one and see union jacks on people's clothes often does that mean that it's a trend all over US just because you've observed people in one state?

I love how people who don't consider it a issue have over 10+ threads to discuss other things but instead come into this thread and say "I love how people find it a issue".

I suppose his point was that since DmC Dante is a punk, the Union Jack flag perfectly fits his style. He just illustrated that with few examples. And as far as your "where and among who" is concerned, it could be many people from all over the world from different age groups. Don't tell me you thought that you'd get everyone's names and addresses! 'Cause that would be extremely weird :eek:
