they didn't pay tribute in enslaved, or heavenly sword because they didn't want to, it was their creations, and they didn't think it fit their style. but with dante they thought it fit his style, and since dante isn't their character im guessing they wanted to put a little twist of their own on his appearance. afterall it's ninja theory's version of dante.
Please elaborate more on:
- Enslaved and HS was their creations, and because of that they don´t need to pay tribute to UK through them
- How a tribute don´t work in Enslaved or HS because it doesn´t fit their style.
- How a tribute fits his style

you're right, Japanese created DMC and Dante...but guess what! They're not creating DmC...get over it..it's just a stupid flag that you will MAYBE only see in cutscenes

But you wearing ****s with flags may not mean anything. But can you say the same thing about DmC?
If Dante wore a flag i would just ignore it not love it. Unless if it´s a Japan flag as Japanese people created DMC and Dante.
I am talking about why i find the flag a issue. And i have asked the question why they haven´t paid tribute in Enslaved or Heavenly sword.
'Dude you mispelled shirts into a word i don't think we are allowed to say (i would fixed that before an admin sees it)
oh and regarding the rusty car
I really do not know what to say , I think it was actually an easter egg saying DMC5 is still in the works and that the car was just rusty to go with the theme they are trying to add to the game

When you see a rusty car you think "That car is broken" not "That car will one day drive again".
I don´t think it´s a theme thing.

Maybe it's just a way to show his rebellious nature.
UK is the country where punk subculture emerged.
Yes, but would that then not prove that NT is taking a british standpoint on DmC?

alrighty
-so enslaved and heavenly sword were ninja theory's creations correct? so the characters in both of these games are already representing ninja theory, because they are the original works of what ninja theory created, therefore there's no need to put a tribute on the character when the whole character itself is your own original creation. maybe an example will help show what im trying to say. ex. it would be like if capcom was doing their version of a game series, lets use no more heroes as an example. capcom makes a few adjustments to the main protagonist travis touchdown, and on his t-shirt they put a little 8 bit megaman. capcom would have done this as a a tribute to their company, but also because it matches the character's style. however, just because they put this 8 bit megaman on their version of a different company's character, doesn't mean capcom has to put megaman on all of THEIR characters now.
-well a tribute wouldn't fit the style of heavenly sword or enslaved, because well in enslaved you get the feel of a more warrior, rural period of time so i don't think it would've fit into their characters appearance, and with enslaved i guess it could've fit into one of the characters' appearance, but as i said earlier i guess they didn't find that necessary.
-this tribute (the union jack) fits dante's appearance, because a union jack is a trendy fashion symbol. it fits the fashion sense of a punk-rocky type of guy i suppose. and since dante appears to be a punk-rocky type of guy in DmC, it makes perfect sense to me that the flag matches his style.

i hope this has helped.

'Maybe Kat (the girl in the trailer) fixes it up in one level and dante uses it as an escape vehicle

dude they have the right to put the flag on the character because their makin the game, its not necessary but still their makin it.

Are you saying everyone in UK knows that Ninja theory made Enslaved or Heavenly sword because it is Ninja theory´s original work, and because DmC is not NT´s original work people do not know?

A tribute can come in many forms. Flag is obvious one. Are you saying Ninja theory couldn´t fit a tribute into Enslaved or Heavenly sword?

Where is the union jack a trendy fashion symbol? Among who and where exactly?

It´s a collaboration. And they are being paid to make the game. They are not doing it for free.

Maybe Santa claus exists. In first place don´t show a rusty car with DMC 5 license plate.

Are you saying he doesn't:eek: BLASPHEMY
but in all seriousness it could just be a simple easter egg referencing that they want fans to consider this a fifth installment
then they will make the next one called DMC6
and The Angry video game nerd will have to make another Chronologically confused video

no im not saying everyone in the UK knows that ninja theory made enslaved and heavenly sword. im saying that most gamers know that ninja theory made enslaved and heavenly sword.

im saying ninja theory couldn't fit a UK flag into their main character's design like they did with dante.

the union jack is a fashion trend right here in the U.S of A. i see the union jack on all sorts of clothing here, in fact there is a belt i want that has the union jack on it. it can be trendy to whomever desire it trendy. usually i see teenagers and younger adults wearing the union jack on their clothes.

You know CoolDemon the only real problem I have with Ninja Theory is there mediocre combat system
Heck Heavenly Sword wasn't even the best god of war clone on the market (That goes to Dante's Inferno) and Tameem blamed poor Enslaved sales on Gamers but in all truth it was because the competition was major franchises like Castlevania and CoD being released around the same time of it
But other than that i have no real problem with this game I might buy it but since sales probably won't be that good i will buy it for $20
but overrall i am actually excited for this game to an extent the only problem is Ninja Theory and Alex laughing at the fans about things we already got over , like Dante's hair.
