To answer your question, I NEVER said he did not feel it, only that nothing pointed to him losing muscle control.
Its like say you came around a corner and your friend jumped out with a knife to your throat while you where holding your dinner,
Your body jerks your hands fly in the air and you look surprised and to top it off yes you drop that dinner.
That in no way means you "lost muscle control", only that you where caught off guard and surprised and reacted in that moment to such a thing.
You don't know what it looks like when someone loses muscle control do you?
