Stabing fetish?

Does anyone notice there as many times Dante has been stabed, Virgil has stabed someone else?

I wonder If that was done on purpose? Do we the fans relly love stabings so much that they put one in every game?

I feel the impalement scenes are there to emphasise the 'immortality' and adamant nature of Dante (and in DMC4 Nero). Its kinda become a trade mark scene, after all...it is pretty funny too when Dante gets shiskebab'ed in the opening scene of 3 by the Prides

yea stabbings add that special something to the cut scenes..i always think..."oooo that had to hurt"
