Now, this bug's a doozy. You will notice that there is a trophy/achievement for slaying 5,000 demons. However, the number iterates even when you defeat Vergil. Vergil is only half demon, for one, and he certainly isn't SLAIN. Ninja Theory really dropped the ball on this one, guys.

</sarcasm> But really, did you guys notice any odd details that made you stop and think? Weird bugs, expressions, words exchanged- it all goes. Let us know anything you noticed during the game that other people might not have noticed, and discuss.

Recently I found out that with jump cancelling you can skip whole sections of a level. Specific cases: you can pull the left camera on Under Watch by jcing an enemy on the first wave, getting on the ledge and pulling it. If you do this while the wave is still going, the one that was supposed to come out after you pulled the camera will never appear at all. Also, the cutscene with Kat will never trigger.

Similarly, you can get the blue rose in middle of the fountain in mission 3 by the same method. And speaking of mission 3, if you replay it with angel glide acquired, you can skip most of the whole mission by simply jumping across the gap the first time it appears.

And if you ask me, that's one hell of an overlook from NT.

I love it- they're like DmC bloopers! I think the second guy (Vergil glitch) had a much better sense of humor than the first. And of course, no better music selection for that third one. :) It's an art form to capture those moments with completely fidelity, really.

During The Order mission I had a Tyrant demon walk into that giant hole in the ground and just wandered around in there charging. Saved me a lot of trouble.

Oh Oh! I don't really think it was a glitch, but it certainly was odd.

I was playing Overturn on DMD, and I was at the end of the level where you (SPOILERS) save Phineas from the Harpies, but the last enemy of the wave was a Dreamrunner. Halfway through our duel, he did his whole portal shtick, but when he reappeared to attack me, he flew out of his portal to hit me in the air, but I dropped down right under him, and he launched himself right into the hole. Got an environmental kill on him for it :p

I had a couple. The one that leaps to mind first would be the one that happened on the last major battle platform during the ascent to Mundas's office. You know where you have to deal with a few waves of Witches, Tyrants and Dream Runners? I had the last DR in the cache teleport away from me, spawn in and I knocked him off the platform. Instead of teleporting back, I think he re materialized inside the platform. The camera went a bit nuts and panned on to Etnad's junk, and I couldn't proceed. Eventually I had to platform out of the stage right through the fire hazard that wouldn't bugger off as long as the DR was alive, but thankfully I had stockpiled so many healing items that I just tanked the damage and platformed out, despite barely seeing where I was going.

LOL, that happened to me too. Once in awhile I've also caught a Tyrant semi-frozen in a wall. And one time I had a small problem with Mundus Spawn, after depleting his health, whenever I tried to yank Lilith out he's just replay his falldown animation. Had to wait for him to revive and kick his ass again. Oh yea, and once the game crashed on me while I was replay fighting the Hunter. Was kinda my fault perhaps; I'd fought him over and over for over an hour along with long pause breaks when I was experimenting and researching the gun power and doing guns only kill runs.

Otherwise I've had no "real" glitches.

Fixed that for you. You seem to have a weird typo ever time you say his name. But maybe it was being shoved into his crotch like that messed you up, must admit for the Dreamrunner to 'port right into the platform is kind'a weird and glitchy, not run into that myself yet. weirdest one I've had so far was in SoS during the Seige when you face two Tyrants, and one walked right into the open pit in the Octagon, puttered around in there, and then I got a DemonPull light, grabbed it and insta kill.

I've yet to encounter any glitches..

However I've noticed that in SoS, I can use Devil trigger in cutscenes...

Apart from the usual few visual bugs, I haven't encountered any funny glitches :\

Haha, DmC sure is a bit glitchy xD
I also encountered the 'Tyrant stuck in a hole' one on Mission 12, and had a Dreamrunner commit suicide behind my back
But something else I noticed is that Butchers and Tyrants would somtimes, when you leave them alone for too long on the opposite site of the room, just saty there staring at the wall until you enter their field of vision again, looking all like ' Boo-Hoo, no-one loves meeeee *sniff* :'( ' xD
Not sure if that's supposed to happen, but it sure comes in handy :)

Here it is. I snapped it:lol:

Seeing as it was on a harder mode; I was grateful Tyrant went down there. :P

"It's cool dude, I'm not even a Nephilim. Nephilim are what happens when angels and humans breed. I honestly don't know what the hell I am."

Yeah, like the Nephilim from Darksiders http://darksiders.wikia.com/wiki/Nephilim It's not just NT that do that. :/
'Nephilim are an ancient and endangered race derived from both Angels and Demons by the Demon Lilith.'
Damn that Lilith gets about. She's the hoe of the demons or something:lol: First Mundus and now Darksiders....we have to stop her breeding. :P

I know. That stupid cow apparently has had time travelling powers since the beginning of the series, yet the only use she comes up with for it is sending Death back in time to meet Samael. As opposed to, you know, using the omniscience time travel provides to win the war with Heaven outright. She should take some tips from this guy.

If you read up on your biblical canon, Nephilim actually grow to be three times the size of men with thick muscular frames, tend to have only one eye and are always inbred, slow witted barbarians. So at least Darksiders has two out of three over DmC, which gets it completely wrong in every way possible.

I've been thinking of doing a little article exploring the nomenclature across the Devil May Cry series and posting it up in General, because it's almost a running joke in the games that the names don't make a huge amount of sense, but DmC really takes the cake.

Ohh. Moebius! I really miss the Legacy of Kain games. ^_^ Just get him to go back in time and take out Lilith's ovaries and we'll all be safe.... or in the case of Darksiders, get that dust away from her
Yep, I know what the bilbical Nephilim are, so DmC and Darksiders have it wrong, but Darksiders not as much. But I'm okay with what games do with respect to that. They're just games.

Then there are real life people who think Nephilim are in a coalition with the reptile people and they secretly rule the world as part of the illuminati. :/
