Sorry there, mate, I don't really understand what you're asking either. Are you referring to thse things:

In your own profile you have Group Memberships and there are the groups in which you've joined.
I want to remove the icons from the groups and have only the names.

^Ah, sadly there isnt a way to do that as far as I know, it comes as part of the whole Social Group list.
Sorry, if it helps there is an Arrow in the upper right corner of the box to minimise the list. Hope that helps ^^
