Pre-Gamescom Trailer

Wow... That's like the worst trailer so far. Music is ****, new footage looks bland and what the hell did they do to the camera (0:55)?
Who would mess up the damn CAMERA SETTINGS in a trailer???
Seriously NT, please fix this, I won't support slacking. Not so close to release.

Edit: Okay, the overall look infuriated me, but combat still looks nice. I hate how he dodges AFTER the attack supposedly hits him though.
This is most likely a teaser trailer so I think it's a bit unfair to expect new footage. I do agree that whoever was responsible for editing the trailer footage needs to be shot as couple of those camera angles are simply godawful.

Hey guys. Look at the place in 0:59

Now look at this DMC1 teaser and the place at 1:56

Kind of getting a familiar fibe.

A teaser is there to hint at new footage. This is straight up new footage. Your argument is therefore invalid. Whether it's fair or not is irrelevant, since the trailer would still have to be well edited and showing exciting new stuff, which, in my opinion at least, it fails to do.

Edit: I also noticed, that they put in Lock-On marks, so you can see what is in your auto-lock. Could mean that they are really reaching the phase, where it's simply "Put in everything we haven't put in yet. The foundation stands.".

Go back to previous trailers and look at the graphics and speed.

Now see new trailer. +5!

They've been walking us through this game since the beginning.

But now, I think everyone sees why I'm hyped.

The speed hasn't nessesarily increased, but has gotten more fluid.

I blew this trailer up next to the demo with tameem. I'm thinking it's faster. Don't you just love how it keeps getting better and better?

Everything packs more "oomph!"

Also they added effects when he demon grapples.

On top of that...

He's kicking **** and making it explode!

Woah! Down boy, down. I thought it looked fine, and I thought the music was very good.

I think him seeing the DMC 1 trailer is going to calm him down on...just about everything he complained about.

Oh you know I love that. Every trailer gets better with time. And what's even more funny is that this isn't even the whole trailer.:P

Did anyone notice the fact that the angel and demon weapons are less colorful now? The axe, specifically, is straight out faint orange instead of dark red like it used to be.

Must be another step in their development... like how in earlier builds your weapon didn't show up on your back whenever you switched modes but instead Rebellion either froze (angel mode) or got the red aura (demon mode).

I see what you are saying. There were some instances in where they put the wrong camera angels and stuff... but, as someone who has done video editing in the past, that was 100% intentional on their part. The reason? I don't know. I think they probably had little footage to work on this trailer (like just one playthrough) and so they wanted to show some cool parts that didn't show up very neat on the screen.

Just saw it and thanks Frantix!!

I agree with ReRave on this one. Byfar the worst trailer out of them all. The only good thing about it is, well, it is new footage and everything seems like its all put together.... except for the person who made this trailer. Nothing really stands out besides the fact that gamescon is right around the corner and this trailer is more of a hint of what's supposed to be shown, hence the laziness of the editing. But, i thought after the combat was shown ALL last year, there would be more opportunity to show more story or more of the unique physics, maybe more platforming.

I'm not completely blown away by this trailer, but it is the first time where i wasn't saying "oh ****" through out the whole trailer like i was for all the rest of them. thank gawd it was only two minutes

It's not actually a full trailer, mind you all. It's a teaser for whats to come.
which i'm glad they did, because for all we know the gamescom trailer might be completely different and this teaser was just for the actual playthrough footage we would be seeing.

Did you notice that at 0:20 Dante seems to be standing on, or shrouded, by a light? you can notice it around him at 0:22 be quick about it though they go by pretty fast....anyone got any bright ideas about this?

.................I for on found this trailer......well....I wasn't disapointed nor was I impressed.

It was a cool trailer and the stage didn't disappoint but it was just the same thing I've seen in all of the past trailers..literally the same weapons with the same combos but in a different scenery and the same platforming.......nothing new.

Ninja Theory

But the music was awesome probably the best shown thus far.
