Judgeing by the trailer the DT looks to be that form this dante takes that gives him white hair and a red coat.
I could be wrong but that was the impression I (as well as many others) where given.

After I saw the E3 gameplay trailer , I opened the DMC4 trailer and almost cried because of . .
1-the graphics in this DmC are BAD
2-how Dante looks in this $hit and how handsome was he in DMC4.
3.Dante in this trailer doesn't look like the one in the TGS trailer.
4-DT mode is ridiculous , it's simply called Devil trigger mode not old ugly Dante mode!
5-the music sucks

Ok,I didn't like the reboot dmc trailer too,but i think we should give this a game a chance...

You calling someone's criticism "ignorant" really is not helping either.
He has a OPINION on it and it does not make it ignorant or dumb just because you say so.
Seems a couple of people on this forum just outright refuse to respect others opinions *facepalm*.
How hard is it to have some form of decency and respect for others opinions.
The trailer we've seen is unfinished. The graphics aren't done yet. So forming a full opinion about the game already would be rather ignorant. I will show respect to him when he gives me a reason to.
He can have his opinions, but at least justify them instead of just being all "Nyeh nyeh, it sucks!".

No need to be insulting or make derogatory comments, especcily in the most immature manner. Quote editing and using the term 'im gay' really, this isnt pre-school...
Think people need to start adding 'in my opinion' at the start of their posts because most the things im reading that people post arent facts they are opinions that are voiced as if they are facts. Just because something looks like **** to you doesnt mean that everyone feels the same way and someone else might actually prefer something in the way it has been presented.

I personally can't believe that people need each post to start with "in my opinion" or something like that. Telling the difference between fact and opinion (even ones without the "imo" tag) really isn't that hard. I don't think people need to include a disclaimer of sorts in each post so people know its just their opinion so much as people not get so gosh darn upset about everything. Even if people say something is just their opinion people can and prolly will still get upset about it if its strongly worded enough. But I don't think the answer is to be passive and submissive with each post either. I think people just need to take a chill pill. OR! Take a lovely break from the forums. Its amazing how much little things can build up in you and you don't realize it until you leave for awhile. Worked for me.

We'll if people would stop attacking eachother and calling other's opinions dumb and ignorant then we really would not come to this type of discussion at the end of every topic.
It is simple really
Respect eachothers opinions and stuff like this will not happen.
Let people have their opinion whether it is bad mouthing the reboot or praising it.
Don't go on the offensive and attack that person for stating his/her opinion no matter how unreasonable you may think his/her opinion is such as judgeing the DMC trailer to early.
My opinion about his opinion is that it was ignorant. Can't I have that opinion, or should people be allowed to cuss me for thinking his opinion is ignorant? That is just my opinion, of course. And I expect others to respect my opinion, wether they agree with it or not, no matter their own opinion. People can have their opinion about other people's opinions, but apparently we can't state our opinions about anything without turning the thread into a discussion about wether or not an opinion is respected or not, because people keep stating their opinions about it. So therefore I think people should just shut up about what opinions are allowed to have and what opinions are not, and just chat about the freaking main topic of this thread!

Funny how you just do not seem to be getting the point.
It is ok to state your opinion as long as you do not bash someone else's.
Sure you should be able to state your opinion but not at the expense of downlplaying and bashing someone else's. Its one thing to have a opinion and another to bash someone else's in favor of yours.

Listen.
You asked why we always come to this and the answer is pretty simple.
When people bash someone else's opinion "namely you" then it creates a argument.
The argument then completely derails the topic to the point that someone has to try to put a end to it.
Afterwards the discussion regarding respecting other's opinions usually starts.
Do you see now?
By simply not bashing other's opinions this problem will not arise again simple as that.
Can't you voice your disagreement for someone else's post without insulting them and their opinion?
