Why? Yo ain't meeting with me.
Yes, I'm one of those people who don't have a current gen console. I only have a PS3 and a WiiU. It maybe a bit childish to say, but what about the others? I don't have the money to get a PS4 or Xbox One. I may have a PC but I don't think it's capable for this game. Really? Not one thing for the last gen players? All I ask is just for one or two things. Vergil and/or two costumes for Nero and Dante. That isn't really saying much at all IMO. I had the same reaction to DmC too which was like "Really? No God Must Die atleast? I mean you can make the style meter and mission rank in just that mode harder, don't have the enemies launch in the air in only that mode and that's it. Really? Nothing? Come on, I'm trying to get a next gen to play these, but it's going to take me awhile. I'll work harder to get one, and I got a few job interviews and if things go well. I will work harder, and get a PS4 in the future, but really? Nothing now?

It is a shame man but the reason there next gen is due to it being 7 years since they were released on last gen so it is easier to rework it for current gen so why would they bother with the last gen copy , shame as more people would benefit then

I reckon there is another year maybe two at the most and then last gen games will stop being made at all

I don't think requirements for DMC4 are so high on PC. Also people was begging for ages to patch trophies into DMC4, but Capcom didn't moved. So yeah. Sorry, but that's capcom for you

And it was about time. Current gen consoles have been around for almost 2 years now.

From a business standpoint I can see why they did it, with userbase of last gen obviously being far higher. However if they want to push game series further then they must leave the old tech behind. Now the new consoles are a decent price I can see why more developers are more confident to drop support for the older gen consoles.

Well its to be expected, the only system I have seen last past its years and still have games released alongside the new gen for a prolonged period is the PS2 and that was only because the PS2 was just a insanely popular system and till this day is still considered the greatest gaming system of all time thanks to its popularity and sells.

I still have a Xbox 360,Wii, and PS3 but I recently got a Xbox One for Christmas since I could not help but notice that Developers are obviously looking to mainy focus on the current gen with games like Batman Arkham Knight, Kingdom Hearts 3, and Finaly Fantasy XV.

More and more developers will start developing exclusively for the new consoles & leaving the old behind as time goes on. Some big companies have already stated they are done with the 360 & PS3 already.

It is, however I've heard it's going to be abandon soon for a new console, and hardly a lot of third party developers want to go near the WiiU unless Nintendo does something to show support of their titles.

I only have my PS3 and WiiU at the moment, because I smashed my broken 360 and there is no reason for me to buy a PS4 or Xbone because there's nothing worth getting on them and pretty much all the worth while games are coming to PC anyway so there's no need for a Remaster Gen console.
