New DmC Producer Interview

Instead of holding L2 or R2 for Devil or Angel stance, perhaps a simple press would be better?
That is press L2 and you will be in stance A, and press R2 once and you will switch to stance B.

Why hold it? Anyone else agree on this?

we've discussed this in a thread once. After awhile i think most agreed that it was easier as is. By holding the stances the switch becomes more seamless from x stance to rebellion to y stance and rebellion etc. The click to press wouldn't be as seamless as holding considering E&I are only possible in normal mode.

I don't what the word seamless means. It's as alien to me as an alien.
Now, holding buttons would probably be better i think because of memory.
Having a poor memory i think it would be troublesome to remember what stance i am in so that i can turn it off to return into normal mode (human).

your glowing blue or red how can you possibly forget. Instead of seamless how about smooth transition. It's alot easier to go from one style to the other without getting confused and still use the weapons you want, like E&I as mentioned.

Ah yeah, auras.

And yes after simulating controll of DmC i agree. I think it would be better flow with holding.
