Which Onimusha would that be? The art direction in those games have always been very traditional japanese and greek. DMC is clearly gothic.
I do like the daytime chaos tho.

The scans look great.I am havin a positive feelin about the game.The scans are bright coz the combat is out doors and is during day which is very good.
And Nero is left handed.i have always thought would vergil be any cooler than he is now if he was left handed.and i have never seen a left handed swordsman.so i am guessin nero could be cooler.
And purple seems to be the dominant colour apart from red.Scans are amazing.
Artwork is amazing.i was awed at the artwork of DMC3(temen ni gru) and character design of dmc3(greyon,agni rudra,beowulf).so i am guessin there would be much good character designs in DMC4.
But the sloths kinda look weird for some reason.May be while playing they will look better

I think DMC4 graphics are way smoother, much better textures, and a cool blur effect for things which are in the background! Awesome
Still not as good as like cut-scenes from Final Fantasty or anything like that. But easily about 3 times better than the PS2, in my opinion.

Two completely different art styles. FF animation is a little stiff for my liking.
DMC has a very unique art style, with hard edges and smudged textures.
DMC4 is going to look utterly SICKENING on a HD TV.

Yahr I'm not complaining, I think the game looks solid. Some people think that PS3 is meant to be like movie-quality graphics, or something, and anything less is a disappointment to them. I think DMC4 looks great, it's about what I expected. The distance blur I had not expected though, that has really impressed me.

So, did anyone notice that, on those high resolution pics posted before of Dante, he looks like he's got a bit of scruff facial hair? Just look close. It looks clear as day to me. Don't know how I feel bout this, we have always seen Dante as a clean shaved kind-a-guy...Anywho, that and the pic of Nero holding his gun (the one I have as my avatar) check out his hand-that is his left hand and he has a ring on...looks like it might be a wedding ring...so this "Nero" may be married or his wife may have died. I just read on Wikipedia that he is part of an organization trying to undo the seal of Sparda, but is stopped by none other than Dante. First of all, I could definitly understand why this MIGHT by bad in Dante's mind, but also...why wouldnt Dante want it too?
I also cant wait for speculation to start going around saying that Nero is the one we see in DMC2 who is posing as Dante-the arrivial of this new character is just what they need now. I heard that before about the DMC2 Dante... I have an impression it was from Viewtiful Joe or something (did Dante say that himself in the game?) but I'm not very sure. I've always taken it as a joke, but it would be pretty interesting if the theory was true.
By the way, did you color Nero's hair in your Avatar jigsaw_541? (or do you prefer John?) It reminds me of Steve in RE Code: Veronica...

Hey interesting stuff there... I think that Sparda's seal is a good thing, which seals the demon world off from our world, isn't it? So undoing that seal would unleash hell like they were trying to do in DMC3. So it seems like the clan that Nero belongs to is misguided or something, if they think that getting rid of the seal would be good. Unless I've got this all backwards?
Yeah I thought I could see some dark facial hair on Dante a little. It isn't too much, it's not like he's Abraham Lincoln style, that'd be rough. The in-game screenshots of Dante, he doesn't really look that much different from his appearance in DMC3, I think. So I'm not too worried about the facial hair changing it all that much, you can barely see it most of the time.
The wedding ring on Nero... oooo... yah I hadn't noticed that. However, his wife hasn't necessarily died though, she might still be alive. Also, maybe he's homosexual and has a husband? Hawt.

Perhaps the Order was planning a full-scale assult on the demon world. By breaking Sparda's seal, they would not only open the gateway to Hell but also obtain the full might of Sparda's powers. That's to say they want to do again what was done 2000 years ago--to defeat Mundus's forces (or what's left of it) once and for all, under the lead of another guy who's become the incarnation of Sparda. I think this is possible if you consider the Order's background and religious beliefs.
