I think that all the demons from the DMC games are gonna have human-like reincarnations of themselves. But I don't know that is just me. Maybe Nero is the first because if he isn't human then I don't know what he is!!

I don't think that he's been possessed by Nelo Angelo due to the fact that Nelo's attacks weren't based on fire or rather manipulation of fire. I don't think that he could be Vergil because Vergil didn't have fire powers either. Right?

He did not performed any fire attacks, it was just a visual special effect for Devil Bringer (telekinesis). And even if he did, he is just a human. He can do some fireworks only because of his Devil Arm
