Pain and pleasure... I've got it all.
To be fair, even they say that it's strictly down to opinion so... really solves nothing in the end and even if this was more conclusive i don't agree on their points regarding DmC's combat system while someone else might disagree with something said about Rising.
In the end though i do agree about one thing, people need to stop comparing and fighting over these two games. It's just getting silly at this point.

you can't have both, there's no dimension traveling machine in this game, that ending was unfortunately proven fake

In all honesty, I played both, but I feel that DmC has better core mechanics to the very polished MGR.

Well...simple really...which one is getting a sequel? Kojima already confirmed that he wants more of Rising done...huzzah...plus look at the metacritic score...and the sales...and the reviews...and fan feedback...yea im pretty sure which one is the winner...goodbye DmC...you had a short run but not all games are made to be great...just look at FF 13

But yet Bayonetta got a sequel so there's still hope. NG3 got another chance so there's still hope.

Well for starters, it's really stupid to compare DmC to MGR.
Why not MGR to Ninja Gaiden?

You make it sound like that if MGR is getting a sequal, then DmC won't get one. They aren't connected like that at all. DmC have as much a chance to get a sequal as MGR. ^^
Ninja Gaiden 3 had it easy, they just had to release the full game instead of the extended alpha they sold people before.

-Likable characters

-Addicting music
