Metal Gear Rising VS DmC: Devil may Cry (both equal)

I'm just so freaking annoyed by people comparing these two games, but what ****es me off more is that the old fans are shoving the sales in my and the supporters faces.

That's what made me not like MGR in the first place. Luckily I looked past that and rented it for a week.

But that the thing, its not ALL "old fans" who do that.

That is like me saying that all new fans are annoying NT fanboys who defend this game at every chance (of course I don't think that).

They are basically different types of games in the H&S genre. It's like comparing NG to DMC the games play differently. MGR:R is about combat, counter attacking, and quickly disposing of the enemy. DmC is about performing stylish combos on your enemies, etc.

But I will say DmC's music is ass. I mean seriously all the music just blends in together and is just ughh. At least in the previous DMC's they would mix up the music with the boss fights, and sometimes have orchestral tracks (like Vergil 3). However, I was never a fan of the main battle themes in DMC3 and DMC4... (dantes in DMC4 was ok).

Gimme a break. After what I've seen in youtube and all the other forums, the f*cking sales they keep on bragging, AND blindly rating DmC a 3.0, you expect me to believe that not all DMC fans trash it?

I mainly loved Mundus' theme, except they executed the theme itself poorly INSIDE a giant boss fight? no thanks, should of fought him without the giant fight.

But yet Bayonetta got a sequel so there's still hope. NG3 got another chance so there's still hope.

That's because Tecmo barely publishes any other games besides NG and DOA (lol). I do find the Bayonetta situation odd (because I think Sega owns the rights).. The only thing I think NT might have going for it is another project with Capcom but I don't think it will be DmC2.

Parts of it yah, but it all really just melds together because it all sounds relatively the same.

Well I don't try to have discussions on youtube for reasons I listed above.

And I have been badgered before for having a different opinion and I don't let it get to me as much.

I tend to either try to reason with them to calm down or report them.

But that is just me.

Your obviously different as well as others.

I'm not defending those guys you are speaking of, but was simply asking you to not let them get you so riled up.

Try to not let it get you to that point dude.

Obviously I'm not going to list his name since the situation is over and done with and I really don't want to get into it.

But for the people who did witness it will see me try to reason with him and then finally report him.

The situation was handled by the staff and the member in question is now a lot better.

So "defense" isn't always the answer here dude.

In the end, people just need to chill. The game is out, you can buy it, enjoy it, and if it doesn't get a sequel, well, too bad.

I'm still a bit sad Prototype 2 had such a stupid story, and it never expanded on the (way superior) plot of the earlier game, and now Radical Games is gone and I'm never getting another prototype game again. But that's it.
Eventually I'll say some "f*ck you" if somebody try to talk crap about prototype, but I wouldn't let myself be dragged in to a stupid flamewar over it.

Try not to think of it in terms of "winning" and "losing". Ignore first. Then, if they back you up against the wall, respond accordingly. And don't let up. Eventually, the other party will stop... only to come back later with some backhanded comment to try to get in "that last word" you just mentioned... however, by then it would have already been too late.
