I could only imagine how nuts Gai Ikari (Gokai Silver) would be if he met the Kyuranger team.

"Oooooh!!!" Gai runs up to Lucky and the other Kyurangers. "You guys are your own Ranger army! So cool! Can I get your autograph? By the way I'm Gai Ikari, aka Gokaiiiiiiiiiiiiii SILVER!!!!!"

and about this guy is now 12th member not an upgrade for red one beacuse well this:

First is Ho-Oh Soldier, the 12th member of the team, and is based on the Phoenix constellation. His transformation device is the Ho-Oh Blade and the Ho-Oh Shield, which the user inserts in the Ho-Oh Kyutama to transform.

His mecha is the Ho-Oh Voyager, a rocket that transforms into a robot, the Gigant Ho-Oh. In addition, another mecha the Cerberus Voyager will also be introduced, details if this is a movie-exclusive mecha is yet to be revealed.

And for red having upgrade:

Lastly, a new Kyutama, Saiko Kyutama, (translates as 'supreme' or 'maximum') is a huge globe and is numbered 315. Finally, Shishi Red gets a new form, Shishi Red Orion. Details on how he'll obtain said form is yet to be announced.

So this is what happens when Super Sentai is combined with Kamen Rider's endless Form gimmicks huh? My God, its only a matter of time before Lucky gains "Super, Perfect, Ultimate, Extreme Kyu Globe, Maximum Form!" :bored:

Wow this season is throwing everything but the kitchen sink at us! Its kind of cool and overwhelming at the same time. If I had to take a guess I'm guessing the white form is Lucky's "Super Form?"

I'm behind on Kyuuranger so I'm going to say this right now.... Holy Adam West Batman! 11 Rangers? That's more than Kyoryuger's Ranger team. (Not counting Deathryugrr, Kyoryu Navy, and etc.)

And yet no brown Ranger... I'll always remember you Shinken Brown!... (A one off character from Samurai Sentai Shinkenger)

i think this one in show can be called second red:

A look at Houou Soldier's suit in Uchu Sentai Kyuranger has surfaced online! Houou Soldier is the 12th member of the team.

Houou Soldier is equipped Houou Kyutama with the Houou Blade and Houou Shield. He uses these items to transform and fight. Unlike the other Kyurangers, he has his own 3-piece mecha. His mecha are: Houou Voyager, a rocket, Houou Station, a satellite, and the Houou Base. These three will combine to form the Gigant Houou.

Houou Soldier is expected to debut this July.
