The Devil May Cry fanbase sure isn't the most sophisticated fandom out of the bunch. The Devil May Cry fans have now official become one of the worst to the point of no redemption. Great going guys.

I like Rockstar more than Platinum, but you can't compare since they are totally different companies working different game genres.
Rockstar vs Saints row devs basically is better. o: rockstar wins with GTA5. but before it is Saints row

Rockstar is better than P*. P* has never pushed out anything beyond the decent mark while Rockstar has pushed out games that have pretty much help set a new kind of bar for games in aspects. Least Rockstar actually works on their mistakes to improve and get even better. Rockstar has made masterpieces like GTA: San Andreas and Red Dead Redemption. What's P* mainly known for, that walking S&M fetish Bayonetta and now making a stain on the Metal Gear series with a game hardly any Metal Gear fan even wants. Can't wait for Ground Zeroes.

Well, nah. I wont because it's now canon, it's replacing the old series and bounty paper towels can't remove this stain.
They said MGR was a spin off right from the start so I don't see how it's going to do any damage to the series. They're not going to continue the main series after 4, so why not have fun with some characters in the aftermath of it.

I know what a spinoff is but it is true that the butthurt Devil May Cry fans are giving more attention to Rising than Metal Gear fans simply out of spite and stupidity. For one, the game itself is shaping up to be a piece of crap that sure as hell doesn't live up to any Metal Gear standard. Rising is NOT part of the Devil May Cry franchise, it is part of the Metal Gear series and is canon to the main story. The game picks up after the events of MGS 4. Hideo Kojima is hardly involved with the game and his name alone can sell a Metal Gear game. He's got that kind of cred amongst his fans. Plus regardless of what you think, Raiden is still a very hated character. The cyborg ninja game people want is a Gray Fox game. Thing is also there's so much more potential with a Gray Fox game especially if Kojima's involved. If you know the Metal Gear lore and story, Frank Jaeger's story would make for one hell of a game.

I'm a Metal Gear fan I've already pre-ordered rising and I'm looking forward to Ground Zeroes. I'm going to enjoy my purchase. It's not to spite DmC either, I'm just a fan of the genre and I like games with crazy combos and stuff.

Well, I fell in love with Metal Gear for Metal Gears reasons as it is probably my favorite video game series ever. Metal Gear Solid is what got me back into video games when I was younger after I dropped them all together for quite sometime. I played the demo for Rising and it sure as hell isn't better than DmC if people honestly want to compare the 2. I'm hyped for Ground Zeroes. Big Boss, open world Metal Gear, Hideo Kojima making it, prologue to MGS 5, stealth focused gameplay, f*ck yes, sign me up. I can't wait for Ground Zeroes.

The demo of Rising is hell of a lot better than MGS4. But then again so many things are: DmC, Tetris, MGS1 & 2, Peace Walker (gameplay only), Zelda, DMC4, pacman etc
