Just beated the game on SoS :)

DMD should be the hardest, but I can't say for sure in this game.
You guys think its easy but its so hard. Believe me. Its not like the demo. And the other enemies are making so much troubles.
When you play the game you ll understand

I'm not saying anything, I just said I'm not sure about this game because maybe Hell and Hell is harder than DMD =C

From what I've seen, it's not that much harder.
Yeah but its not like it seems.
I was thinking the same thing and posted to developers to make it harder.
But it is not. Its very hard.
If there werent checkpoint system people would cry,im telling you.

It might not be. As I recall, Hell and Hell used the enemy placements and boss patterns of Son of Sparda in DMC4, so hopefully it won't be harder than DMD.

No, I've sat through an entire stream watching a mediocre player run through DmC with Nephlim difficulty and he beat it in around 9hrs. Didn't have much trouble other than the bosses (which is explainable since you need to memorize attack patterns). I've even heard people running through DmC in 5 hours.

The only other reason on why you would take so long to finish a mission is if you are trying to find lost souls, keys, and copper doors. That's about it.

I'm a medicore player and i played the demo many times then yesterday i started the main game on NEPH.

How much im medicore? Im a fan of DMC fights and can do combos also im a SF,KOF and UMVC3 player and i can do Doom Tac combos too.
You can imagine how good can it be and i beat the game like 15 hours (maybe more, cuz i played it two days)

I dont understand the boss thing. I didnt even care about bosses while normal enemies(demons) are very good for me. I was playing with them, and they began to tear me up after 10 missions later
The city jumps, platforms are not just ''press A, Lift, lift, lift'' too.

I dont think any medicore player can beat the entire game without dying on nephlim. Im telling you i almost die like 20 times (not counting falling downs)

note: and 5 hours thing is a lie..it cant be cause i played the game it cant be finished in 5 hours..even the cutscenes are 3 hours (yes i tried to find lost souls but i didnt made any secret missions)

whats your point? again, this is something that could be done in DMC4 as well. Devil Hunter (the equivalent of nephilim in this game) is also painfully easy in DMC4, even when i played it as a noob i only died against dante.

One question, what is there to unlock?? after finishing HELL AND HELL what are the costumes you get??
and maybe weapons or something?

What's your point? Is exploration NOT a part of Devil May Cry's appeal and length? You can run through the old games too if you disregard everything else you can do as well. Does that make either one of these less of a game? So far there's more to do here because they decided to add so much to do out of the way.

And why do people keep talking about remembering boss patterns? Do you simply mean attacks? Because I haven't noticed any patterns. It's no different than past DMC games where you have to recognize the boss tells and react accordingly. A pattern means you would already know exactly what it's going to do next. I don't think that's the case here.

You anti folks are SERIOUSLY hammering this game and it's quite unfair. Now all of a sudden everyone is a casting/movie director. Script writer. Even though the story and acting here blows every other game in the genre(except MAYBE God of War) out of the water without being an overly acted cheesy drama. Every one's a level designer. "The platforming is lame/filler!" I've seen someone even try to knock it because some of the bosses have their own missions! Like....really? Has that never happened in DMC? I think it has. Hell, I know it's how Bayonetta worked, and damn near everyone considers that the best in the genre(for whatever reason). Everyone's a glutton for punishment, despite the hate vanilla DMC3 got and how **** easy DMC4 is(which this seems to be on par with).

I don't know. Disregard that little rant as it isn't necessarily directed at you. I get that you don't like the game. And you're trying to come off civil and neutral or whatever, but it's just unfair to me. Who cares how fast you can complete the game when there's incentives to go back and a mode outside of the story simply for the action?

i dont know the hell and hell but there are so many DANTE designs/sketchs on extras getting unlocked
youll be very suprised

EDIT Oh, also theres a customize mode for each Dante, weapons and guns..

i dont care much about designs and sketchs
but i want to know if we get any special costume, or weapons
Like i said, yes you are getting new costumes cause there's a upgrade mode for them. But no new weapons there, its only for modding

My main point was just that DmC wasn't that hard. It's harder on the later difficulties for sure but not much harder on Nephilm mode.

I'm not saying anyone can beat the game without dying. That's kinda absurd. I'm just saying that it's not as hard as people make it out to be.

Also all I've said about the 5 hrs part is that I've heard someone beat the game in 5 hrs. I'm not entirely sure if it's true. I never said it was a fact or anything. And if I recall correctly, DmC has about 1 hr and 30 minutes worth of cut-scenes. Probably 2 hrs at the most.

It's hard to say that this wasn't directed at me when you said "You anti folks". As well as directly replying to me.

The only thing that I originally didn't like about this game was the combat. But after seeing a stream of it, there are multiple things that I do not like about the game. Including the story and parts of the script.

It's a niche genre, so that's not a huge accomplishment even if it were true.
without being an overly acted cheesy drama.
Now you're just lying. Well, except for it being overly acted. It was under acted. Dante's voice actor sounded like he was falling asleep at points.

woah really? customize in what way? like what are some of the options?
