Alright, this is the situation, A wrestler, who was one of the greatest, did something bad and then died. Now WWE refuses to induct him into the Hall of Fame. Only with a petition will this happen. So I've started one, but I need all the signatures I could get. So please register at this site and sign this Petition. Please. The Wrestler was Chris Benoit by the way.

Here's the petition thread:
http://fans.wwe.com/go/thread/view/7..._of_Fame?sdb=1

Please sign this. Please.

Please guys and girls, this isn't going to work without your help. So please sign that petition even if you don't care nor watch wrestling.

Sorry but I don't really feel right endorsing a murderer.
For those who don't know what happened. Chris Benoit killed both him wife and his son before committing suicide himself.

He actually hung himself and that is a joke in really bad taste.

Online petitions NEVER work. You may aswel make a petition to sign Charles Manson out of prison while you're at it.

You want me to support a murderer? Okay, where do I... GET OUT OF HERE :p

EDIT: I don't give a crap about his God damn profession. All in all, if you kill then all you have achieved means jack **** to me. I'm not going to support someone knowing full well they have murdered someone. Damn...

I don't think he's supporting him for his actions (killing his family and himself), but for his profession as a wrestler. Online petitions barely get the attention of whoever the petition is trying to reach. If so, Mother 3 would have hit the states long ago along with other subjects for online petitions. Not to sound like a Debbie Downer here. The best you could probably do is write to the WWE. :/ All I can really suggest.

I understand where all of you are coming from....but he was a great wrestler. It was tragic when I read what happened......but I think it was drug related or something like that.
But like everyone else, I'm not signing it :p

Wow most of you people are choosing not to do this for the completely wrong reason. DD seems to understand, which is good.

If he was a good wrestler and was picked to be in the hall of fame he should be in it. What he does outside of wrestling, no matter how bad, shouldn't effect wether or not he should be added.

It's like saying "I think this guy should be class president because he gets straight A's." but then some one says "But he plays video games too much at home." Should the fact that he plays video games too much overshadow the fact he gets straight A's? Should Chris Benoit murdering his family overshadow the FACT that he was a great wrestler and should be in the hall of fame? The answer is simple...

NO

Your not "endorsing murder" by signing this, so stop saying s*** like that people. When you sign this you are saying that his WRESTLING CAREER was worthy of being in the hall of fame. Not that murdering your family is awesome...I'll sign it. :D

^ I'll answer for myself, to that.

It's my personal opinion, and I don't give a crap about his God damn profession. All in all, if you kill then all you have achieved means jack **** to me. I'm not going to support someone knowing full well they have murdered someone. Because to me it's wrong, and no matter how good they are at something they have still murdered. And you can't compare something so mild to a murder, that's wrong. Damn...

Then your a fool.

Better a fool who stands by his opinion, than a fool who is ignorant and accepts no-one else's.

But of course you can reverse that by saying:
"He murdered his family brutally plus child!"
"But of course he was good at wrestling."

Wrestling is wrestling, but in the ring and outside the ring can also be combined towards a good reputation or a bad one. This one is bad. Dying with dignity with honor in the ring and outside. He doesn't deserve anything but stayin' in the dirt.

Truth be told, I never heard of the guy until it came on the news he murdered his family and killed himself. I stopped watching wrestling when I got into Middle School. Seeing that his act did cause his fans to become very, very, VERY upset, I saw a man walk into Spencers (please note that this life size cardboard poster... whatever you call'em was up for sale before the events had taken place) and tore one of the displays in half. Of course he had to pay for what he did, but geez... What happend was horrible and if I were a fan of someone who murdered his/her wife, husband and even their own children is an unforgivable act. No matter what excuse they have.

Are you all being willfully dense? It has nothing to do with his reputation. If that were the case there would be no "villian wrestlers" The ones that come out and refuse to sign autographs for children and push down old ladies.

"He beats up old ladies but donates to charity." "you can reverse it" Don't make me laugh that was a horrible defense.

I don't condone murder, but I'm not going to say he doesn't deserve an award because of it.

Now I'd love to ask "if it were you would you want that award?" But I know you would all say "NO" just to make a point "I showed him." But in the back of your minds you would all be screaming "YES I EARNED IT."

You all think your being righteous by denying him his reward, saying "I don't endorse murder" but you are all missing the point of a hall of fame.

If a kid gets straigh A's but looks at porn, does he not deserve to be valedictorian?

If a soldier earns the medal of honor but beats his wife, does he not deserve his country's thanks?

If some one paints a masterpiece but also does drugs, should his work not be in a museum?

If a man discovers the cure for cancer but molests his children, do you expect people to not use his cure?

NO NO NO NO

Unfortunately for you people the world is not pretty and most likely you have all done something that is considered "wrong" by other people, not as bad as murder but that is not the point I'm making here. If it were you, you would want that award, that gold medal, your fifteen minutes of fame, stop being hypocrites.

K this thread is dead to me now.

BTW Zach, I registered but I have an error on page so I'mma go over to my friends place to sign it. ;)
