How to make Kyrie a better character?

Resident Evil 4 has had a stealth section. But if you think that couldn't work, well, she could always use magic or something. Problem is, there is already such a diversity of characters that it would be difficult to make her playstyle unique.

EDIT: And wasn't Metal Gear Solid stealth game?
 
I was reading a Hellboy comic in which a rookie BPRD agent had to learn how to do exorcism. So i think having Kyrie learn how to exorcisms could help her be a more active participant in the series.

But in all seriousness, I personally don't think making Kyrie into an action hero suddenly solves any character issues as she would likely end up just as hollow as Lady or Trish have become. If I were in charge of DMC6, what I'd do is have her join the humanitarian effort to help people negatively affected by demon attacks either from the Qliphoth or something new in 6. That way she could be around and interact with people without having to fight herself.

Thinking about it, what the DMC's problem with characters stems from in my mind is the game still using an outdated Mission system. If we had a more sandbox type structure (not necessarily free roam) then we could do stuff like check back in on characters like Kyrie and Morrison, giving them much more screentime and chances for development, or even dare I say it side-quests. :nailbiting:
 
I mean a game purely based on stealth , but with devil may cry ott action hack and slash combat

Sekiro ain't that lol
 
They could use that for pre-release promotion of the game; not sure how would it work within the game, though.
 
I mean for Kyrie to report the hunters’ activities all over the world.

That wouldn't really help. I guess you could make her into mission control, a la Resident Evil 4 or something, but even that would only be slightly better than current situation.

That'll work. Nico could help Kyrie with that.
 
Have her get badly hurt in a demon attack and fire , and Nico builds her a new arm and legs , with abilities that allow her to go into combat

It causes turmoil for her and Nero and sets them both on a path of vengeance

They can then track down the new antagonist together and have the first ever coop campaign with coop and separate missions

With all missions playable for both characters

Come to think of it. I can picture Kyrie being killed and later replaced some pieces of her body with the same way Nico did with Nero. A bionic arm, leg and an cyborg-like eye.

In fact think Mukuro from Yu Yu Hakusho. Have her wield a rapier and a revolver like Nero’s.

First, the new enemy could raid Nero's home, kill Kyrie right in front of her. The kids are out. Kyrie suffered burns and wounds and is taken to a hospital. Then the enemy group would secretly kidnap her and rebuild her with Nico's stolen designs of the Devil Breakers. She's reborn but brainwashed under their control.

Yeah, that would work very well. And it would definitely provide an opportunity to expand on Kyrie's characterization beyond "cardboard cutout".
