How long does it take to become a veteran ..... i joined in April 08 and havent left once ... Am i a veteran ??

It depends what you class as a veteran. Do you count people joining in 2007? 2008 first half?

You'd be concidered a DMC Vet. if you have 100%'d the game, given lots of good advice on the subject and been a member here for a good few years.

The title of Veteran isn't handed out casually ^^
