How does DmC look between 10' and 12'?

When passing that fat dude in the demo, he wasn't gonna pass him while smirking and say, "Loose some wait there, big guy." No. He needed to be aggressive and make that fat ass loose weight, by knocking the can out of his hand and just be straight up to say, "It'll kill you."

I'm sorry, but knocking drinks out of a person's hand isn't going to solve anything. He's just going to go buy another drink, simple. If you want to change people, you don't be rude about it. Neither do you do anything that could give reason for people not to want to follow you. Otherwise, not matter how bad your background is, your actions become unjustifiable.

In Dante's case, he should do everything he can not to make himself look anymore like the "terrorist" he's made out to be as well as not give anybody any reason to dislike him. It's bad enough he's public enemy number one on the news, if that fat guy realizes who he is, it could mean more trouble for him.

I'm wondering if aspects of the tgs trailer are still in play and if the tgs dante and captivate dante are the same guy

I made a theory where the TGS trailer Dante is actually what we see from the real world perspective and Captivate Dante is how looks from his own perception. TGS Dante is more menacing because the world sees him as a terrorist.

That's the beauty of hating the system: Everything you do, you do out of spite for your opressor. Dante, being opressed by the demons of Limbo, fights their "real" counterparts in reality (Virility, Raptor News, all those are supposedly run by demons or "influenced" from the background). We know that Dante was abused as a child, so what exactly seems unjustifieable about his hate and lashing out against his environment?

People wanted Dante. People got Dante.

Sounds plausible. It's more likely that NT simply scratched that design for the huge backlash it caused.

I think NT may be required by Capcom to scratch the original design because of the huge backlash.
The worst thing is you have a Japanese boss who doesn't approve your innovation.
Now, they make Dante into this shallow-easy guy.

That's not even it, since Capcom gave them free hand on the designs. I heard somewhere, can't be sure of course, that Capcom actually liked the prototype of Dante.

Alex said his Japanese boss is a "ruthless master". According to my knowledge of Japanese enterprise culture, they are not gonna to allow you to stick your guns if your innovation doesn't receive a good public response.

So far the game reaction has been nothing but negative response

Sorry if i'm dumb but you mean the dante of 2010 trailer or other designs?
That's what I meant, yes.

Antoniades said in one of the first interviews, that they tried to make Dante look more alike the older versions, but Capcom spurned them to do their own thing and to move away from the white-haired, redcoat-wearing Dante, since they didn't want to make another sequel, but a whole other game. Will be looking the source up, but that's going to be tough.

In Japan, yes.
In the West? Could`ve been worse, but not by much.

In japan yes...here its so so...just have to play the waiting game I guess...not having too much hope in it though

Yeah, haters say that they're the "majority" but the fact of the matter is, that, the reception has been positive overall, despite what people want to believe.

Ever since Captive happened, over at youtube for all the Videos about DmC, the majority have liked the game. And everyone with a hands on demo seemed kinda reluctant to say it but, they wanted DMC skeptics to give it a chance.

As for Capcom Unity, all i see is blind hatred. Like they expect something to happen and when it doesnt happen they lose their minds. I take everything with a grain of salt and so far DmC is very salty hehe

Then don't buy the game.

She said she will buy it. But she has low hopes that it will be worth it. like with me and DMC3.

It depends on the majority. There's one half that's supportive and one half that hates it. The reason you probably see positive results outside the forurms is because those are new fans as the result of DmC.

I have a friend who hated the new DmC and loved the old DMC more. She's only seen the the 2010 trailer and hasn't seen anything DmC related since. Then I showed her DmC Captivate 2012 "Public Enemy" and she love it and wanted to play it more then ever. It depends on the person and what they like, not a majority..

Pretty much

I guess that's true. How do you tell if the percentage of people are pro or con? The internet is vast and youtube isn't all, nor us here. Ultimatly we won't know till we compaire sales.

People can only tell from personal experience, from what they have seen themselves. There are no official numbers on who is pro and who is con. Like berto said, the sales will be the official numbers.

That's before the debut of the first trailer in 2010. Now they are back off.
