Capcom made a lot of mistakes with this game but it could've been worse. DmC could've been handled by Sega. Sega was in a similar boat with Sonic Boom but they legitimately screwed over the Devs they were working over shortsighted greed. Atleast Capcom's mistakes felt sincere and understandable.
