General DMC5 Brainstorm

Let's hope in DMC5, you'd use some sort of cheat code to unlock everything like what happened on DMC3
 
^:huh: Where'd THAT come from? Just wondering. Although this IS a brainstorm thread, I don't think having a follow up to DMC 3 in DMC 5 is a good idea. It COULD work, but chances say no.

- Is the older twin
- Serves as the opossite of Katastrophi
- Has light/and fire techniques
- Loves Katastrophi more than anything[like she does]
- Holds no grudge against anybody
- Values life[not this : human = vermin thing]

Hey guys... I've read all of your ideas and they are all very good. I'm leaning more towards the idea that Lucifer & Katastrophie are twin sisters. In my eyes, they mirror Dante & Vergil to SOME extent (heavenly versions). Katastrophie is VERY BRUTAL & evil in the sense that maybe she has been twisted and influenced by the General. She loves to fight and dominate whatever she can to assert her strength. Her sister Lucifer (I'm thinking of a different name to be the opposite of Katastrophie) would be the most beautiful angel in heaven, in looks and personality. She has honor, love and wisdom and doesn't consider any life worthless. She will aid Dante in his journey, recognizing the goodness in his heart. She is very gentle and delicate. Katastrophie IS very fierce in appearance - as soon as you see her, you know she kicks A$$!!! Very battle orientated appearance. "Lucifer" has a very gentle appearance. However, I see "Lucifer" as more powerful than Katastrophie, and when Dante kills K, "Lucifer" loses it, pain and anger filling her over losing the one she loves most, and attacks Dante. Dante would defeat her but understanding the pain of losing a sibling, tries to comfort her. She tells him to leave, cradling her sisters lifeless body, but she would show up at the end of Dante's battle with the General (as well as Trish). She never agreed with K's behavior, but unlike Dante>Vergil, could never go against her sister. "Lucifer" or as I'd personally prefer to call her ""Benevolence" doesn't have the rebellious nature of Dante, but Katastrophe has the cold personality of Vergil.
 
The twin sisters would have some interactions in which Katastrophie talks of the pathetic humans & demons and her sister would constantly defend their right to live. Katasrtophie would say thing like "Oh darling sister, when are you going to realize you are better than them?" Lucifer would reply "When are you going to realize they have the same right to live as us?"

Stop reading my THOUGHTS[not posts].LOL.Ah well...Thought that dear Lucy[here's a good nickname and what Dante would call her] would die a brutal death by some kind of trick or just a simple fight against the general because of her betrayal.
 
To be honest, I'm not sure I'll kill her off... I'm really starting to like her as a character... maybe she would have "mortal" feelings for Dante... not sure yet...what are your thoughts? And what do you think of changing her name to Benevolence? Or a take on that name? I'm not good with names... The Lucy nickname IS good...
 
How 'bout Lucy being an angel that presents benevolence."Lucy the Benevolent" as Dante would call her.Forgot to ask though.Who's rank 2?I know the general is top,K's 3 but who's 2?
 
Naw, I don't think Lucia's gonna be in it. You'd have to check with SD. Also, SD, did you like the little story bit I put down? I was thinking that since Lucifer is DEAD-SET on being female now, her lover that she rescues will be male instead. Heck, how about she rescues him first, then, after she tells Dante about him, she helps him break all the others out of their cages as well. Then, in then next mission, all the freed demons forget their grudge against Dante forever, and fight alongside him. Here's the cutscene where it would happen. And yes, since demons are intelligent, I'm gonna make them able to talk.

Dante is running down a large, pristine road, slashing angels and tortured demons left and right. Then, as Dante kills the last one, the demons whom he had freed appear. The Blitz leader speaks (O_O) to Dante. His voice is deep and menacing, but has a subtle hint of renewed strength in it...

B: Dante... We have talked, and we have decided that humans aren't as bad as Mundus said they were. We will fight alongside you, even though you've killed our fathers and sons. Our grudge may never be settled, so why not take our rage out on the angels who tortured us? I lost a brother and a sister to that VILE Katastrophi... She made them swell until they burst, that... that... THING! She has NO RIGHT to be an angel! I may not know what it takes to be an angel, but she DOES NOT have it!

The Blitz removes his helmet to reveal a pair of eyes that glow with a warm blue light.

B: This helmet is a symbol of my blindness to Mundus' cause, and so, I resent it.

The Blitz throws the helmet down and stomps it.

B: Would you let us join you?

Dante fakes thinking about it, looking more and more exaggerated as he goes on. Finally, Dante speaks.

D: Not like I'm gonna be able to take on all of Heaven myself! Welcome aboard the slicin' train, next stop, the Archangel General's palace!

At this, numerous angels and tortured demons emerge from a hillside.

D: If those demons are your friends, free them! We need all the help we can get for this crazy party!
B: Agreed, my liege.

The Blitz turns to it's followers.

B: My brothers and sisters! It's time to fight for our freedom! Though we resent the Legendary Dark Knight, we must put these grudges aside, and fight for a greater cause!

All the demons cheer and remove anything that signified their allegiance to Mundus. The Blades and Assaults and Blitzes remove their helmets, and the Frosts, Blazes and Gusts put cracks in their shields.

D: LET'S ROCK!

How's that for an epic scene? I can feel that adrenaline rush now... You know when you fight a final boss, your winning, you feel like nothing can stop you, and your heart starts racing? I want this scene to make you feel that way. Did I succeed? That's what I want to know.

Assault: Infested Chopper theme (For nostalgia)

I used DMC 2 ONLY music, because that boss was inspired by DMC 2. Whadya think? Is it good?

One more thing, regarding the Blitzes line "She made them swell until they burst..." I think that should be her favorite method of executing someone. It's the cruelest thing I could think of, and plus, I can imagine having your body swell up and burst is gonna hurt like the devil... er... hell... Or would it be hurt like heaven now? I don't know anymore!!!! lol ;)
 
I like your idea of a scene in which Dante & the demons come to a temporary peace... but I imagine not a Blitz... perhaps a new elite demon... possibly a Blaze (your idea I believe) I imagine its menacing voice, flaming from its mouth. It would be towards the end of Dante's story... while the demons fight the angels, Dante is able to face the General. Now about the General, I have a more evolved version of their fight. I see Dante entering his throne & the Generals "man servant" (a character we would loath through cutscenes) rushing at Dante with a piddly little sword yelling "You have no business in the temple of his holine...) - Dante would punch him in the face without even looking at him, knocking him cold. The Generals laugh echo's through the temple. Just a little bit of "Divine Comedy" for you guys (classic Dante LOL). Now they would share a conversation of introduction and after some stuffing around, Dante would charge the General (his form that of a bearded, middle aged man who, while very large and heavily armored, is not that impressive) and strike him multiple times (I'm thinking he performs a couple of flying, running kicks like Neo>Agent Smith and ends with a mid-air, spining back kick. The General would be forced to one knee. "Geez old timer, from the way all your lacky's have been raving on about you, I expected a lot more. You're a little slow don't ya think?" The General laughs quietly and rises to his full height. "You want to see power? Then I shall present you with true power..." "Well good...I came a long way for this fight... may as well make it a good one" Imagine the General's face turning serious & showing pain as his true power is revealed. Light shines so bright, Dante must look away,a high whining sound hurting his ears (think Lucifer being freed in Supernatural.) The Generals angel form is revealed, as I described, he is 7 or 8 feet tall, very broad shoulders and well muscled but completely covered in SHINY, silver/golden armor, his eyes pure, glowing light, enormous, golden/light wings, a very large holy sword & he then summons a shield from light! He is also now younger in appearance - VERY Fierce. "I hope you're impressed by the last thing you will see." At that, the General attacks at speeds Dante can't even see think Super Trickster LOL) and punches him hard in the face, knocking him down and grabs Rebellion from the devil hunter. He would force it through Dante's chest with brutal aggressiveness. At this point you would be thinking "Dante is done for." But then, as I've stated, the General would mention Eva dying in a similar fashion and you would see the full flashback of her death. Then, in the present, Dante's eyes would glow and he would gain that heat like aura as his true powers start to awaken and be in constant "Unholy Focus" and the first part of the battle would begin, with the General trying to hide his concern that Dante may actually be a threat. Watcha think? Oh and the transformation into his second form will be even more impressive. Lastly, for his 3rd "Fallen"mode, I imagine that he reverts to his "small"mode and demands more power (from the "Higher Powers") & a bright holy light shines upon him, however it glows so bright that it burns the General, his wings disintegrating & he takes on a demon/angel appearance. Imagine Dante "Hahaha, your wings really got clipped, looks like your on your own now... too bad man." The General will then attack with more anger and unpredictability than ever. That's the only example of a "higher power" that I will have in the story.
 
Also I like your Possessor music ideas - Very "classic DMC" & I believe it would fit well. And the whole thing about the demons casting off anything that resembles their allegiance to Mundus AND if I may add also their chains cast on them by the General and Katastrophie mixed with Dante's signature "LETS ROCK" is EPIC. I would change a couple of SMALL things with your permission but it did make me feel that way - VERY excited!!! I hope my ideas do the same for you guys since you all obviously LOVE DMC as much as me!!!
 
Oh and in your battle with the Generals first form, you can't DT... you are in constant Unholy Focus... but when you face his second (true) form that wields his full power, Dante will see Benevolence (soz that's just what I refer to her as now) seemingly killed. This sends Dante over the edge and he unleashed his true, Perfect DT which you will use to defeat the ultimate force in heaven... you likey? This form of Dante is the most powerful thing in DMC... I imagine he would look epic... a "Super Demon" with angelic elements - THAT'S power people LOL Think of it as DMC2's Desperation Devil Trigger on STEROIDS!!!
 
Woah! You've certainly been busy while I've been asleep! I agree, a Blitz really doesn't seem like the type to forgo a grudge on Dante so quickly. Blazes have a distinct sense of honor, so, it makes sense that he would be the one talking. Also, the part where the General is burned... Serves him right, ****head... Also, I'm pretty sure the ****s gonna hit the fan when Dante goes DAT. I gave it a name... Desperation Angel Trigger! How's that sound? Also, SD, just tell me what needs fixing in my post, and I'll fix it. If it sounds good, it'll go good with me!
 
Me likes so far!You guys realy worked on it while i had a [insert FRENCH ACCENT] creative bind.LOL.Seriously though...higher powers?I have to admit it has a nice ring to it.Wonder what they are...but i think i probably know...OKOKOK i give.Is it THAT idea i coined for Hunter?
 
Well the higher powers won't really be explained... they are on another plane of existence... they will be sort of like the DMC gods. And yeah, I imagine the Blaze's can talk... when you fight them, they will scream & yell in a menacing voice! While I like your DAT idea, /I see it more as his true form - his "Perfect Devil Trigger" or "True Devil Trigger", see it is still mostly a demon form but with elements of Angel in him, including the demon powers being supercharged. And I will post some dialogue for your "new alliance" scene a little later on and see if you like it.
 
Alright! I gotta say SD, you've really got a way of getting me intrigued. You're like, the master of suspense or something... I like the way this is all turning out! Isn't being creative AWESOME? Thank the lord for my overactive imagination...
 
Yeah it is good :D Also, for a little Nero teaser, you will unlock Nero's 'Legendary DT Form" which is full body DT - basically like the demon in is "Phantom DT" as his own body. This is his real form but having the full power of Sparda, he can mold himself into human form (for story sake & for him to still be a little happy) but you can unlock his "Legendary DT" costume which doesn't have a human mode - just pure DT
