^ Ooooooo! I like that idea! That's like, 1 step up from the Super Costumes. I gotta say, this stuff is like, on fire! I love doing things like this, and well... Let's just say, to be a video game designer, you pretty much NEED an overactive imagination.
 
yeah Nero is Sparda reincarnate... and DANTE! Well he's on another level altogether now :D Vergil has his work cut out for him next game!
 
Vergil's gonna get his @$$ handed to him if he tries to fight Dante again... That'd be what, the seventh time they've fought, if they fight again? You'd think he'd have learned by now...

Story idea, this time, it's for Nero.

Nero's sitting at his rebuilt castle, ruling over the residents like any great king. However, ever since he started, he's felt more and more bored. There's just no challenge anymore. So, Nero decides to pay DMC a visit, just to see what Dante's been up to, and to see if there are any jobs that need to be done.

Would that be a good opener? He could bring Kyrie along as well. I think Credo should be resurrected though. He was a cool guy. Too bad his body disappeared... Who else thinks Credo should be brought back? Also, SD, I'm so excited to hear that story scene I just might die! Please tell me more, good sir!
 
Devil May Cry 5 will be after DMC2.

The game has gone in prequels for two games now, and needs to advance further - so a sequel is 90% possible to happen.

Here are some enemy ideas I'd like to place on:
Noir Diablo: Different from the Bianco Angelo
Alto Diablo: Different from the Alto Angelo
 
If it happens after DMC 2, let's just hope Dante's gotten over his depression spell or whatever he was suffering from... Seriously though, he talks like he's stoned...

I think it has something to do what he heard about the truth of Eva's death, I think.
 
Well, so far, it seems as though DMC 2 comes almost RIGHT after this one. Like, a few years. This game is what makes Dante depressed in DMC 2... Makes sense, now that I think about it.

I hope this is the decision Capcom come to but moving the story forward kind of clashes with the massive obsession with Vergil coming back. Although the hype feels like it has died down a little, if Capcom's plan is to go with fan feedback the decision has already been made regardless of whether anybody has changed their mind or not.
 
^ If it happens, it happens. I just want the DMC 1 Dante back! His attitude coupled with his semi-seriousness was the best. I don't want depressed DMC 2 Dante, I don't want over ****y DMC 3 Dante, and DMC 4 Dante just doesn't seem right for some reason... Dunno why though.

SD, you're killing me here! Don't leave me hangin'! :P
 
Hey guys, finished work :D Yeah I've changed my mind - I will put my story AFTER DMC2. Besides Dante's 20-25 missions, you would be able to play a Prologue which takes place IMMEDIATELY following the event DMC2 & it would cover Dante's escape from hell (after killing countless demons, which would capture the attention of the Sons of Chaos) and him reuniting with Lucia before she departs to be with her clan of half demons, closing that story. Dante's DMC5 story will take place 1yr after the events of DMC2, but he isn't as old as what was indicated when DMC2 came out... in my story, DMC2 was about 5 years after DMC4 so nothing crazy. That makes Nero 6yrs older in DMC5. Oh and I always intended my story to feature DMC1 Dante personality - I think it was the perfect blend for him. The story would start, following a flashback via cutscenes of Dante's life - it would be cool to see all the old stuff quickly in next gen graphics me thinks. Also DreadnoughtDT, I haven't even started on that scene but I will do it 2nyt and post it a bit later :D Watcha guys think of that timeline wise... good or no?
 
Oh and your right man... Vergil wouldn't wanna fight Dante now... he is in another league, even when compared to Sparda! But I imagine in the next game, Dante wouldn't make an appearance till the very end.

I love that idea SuperDante! That's perfect! I miss the DMC1 personality, wish it was added with DMC3 dante's personality.
 
Yeah this will be the best Dante yet. So his actions in hell set in motion the plans of the "Dark Knights of Chaos" (I renamed them) And Dante's constantly growing power has finally forced the Archangel General into action to end the bloodline of Sparda & Eva for good and destroy the only thing powerful enough to ever challenge his own might - a demon hybrid with angelic blood flowing through his veins! EPIC lol
 
Oh and I am NOT saying I would want this to happen but 5 could leave the series open or close it. Think about it, Dante doing what he does in heaven, releasing countless demons from eternal torment and saving the honorable angels from the General tyranny could restore balance not only in heaven & hell but also earth. In a mark of respect to what the legend (Dante) has done for them, earth realm is left to the humans, the demons stay in their own realm and the holy angels govern heaven in peace, ushering a new era of calm, with earth having a reincarnated Sparda in the form of Nero to protect it from the demons who can't help themselves and Dante seemingly gone, sacrificing himself for the good of every race! BUT then, of coarse, in the next game, Vergil upsets the order in his own show of twisted sibling love, wanting to know what happened to his brother, not believing him dead, and goes from the depths of hell, back to the earthrealm (facing Nero wielding the power of his father, Sparda) and into heaven to find his brother. Man, that gave ME goosebumps LOL. Demons & Angels would all be against him since his manners don't exactly say "Hey I'm not against you guys," - Vergil just wants to fight hehe but you would start to see different aspects to Vergil & there would be lots of character development.
 
Also Ronin, I like your two enemy ideas - I for one love the Angelo enemies and I would like a few of those knight like enemies in DMC5. Now for the scene I described about when Dante finally faces the General, I now think there should be basically no comedy. Dante is facing the most powerful being he has ever fought and he has even more beef with the General than what he did against Mundus! This will be like that battle x5 so we should see a close to boiling point Dante - really see him WANT to kill this guys that caused the death of his mother AND father and has put Dante through so much in this mission. Also for Dante's normal DT, I'm thinking something along the lines of a cross between DMC4 DT, DMC2 DDT & Sparda - VERY powerful. And his perfect DT, I can't even describe it LOL. Now for Nero, his costume will be of purple accent (Sparda anyone) and he will begin to resemble the Dark Knight even in his human form. I see a scene in which he is holding the Sparda sword and you see the power from the sword forcing its way into Nero's body and the sword become Force Edge once again while Nero becomes the new Sparda! See Dreadnought, I'm doing my best not to neglect Nero LOL... Thoughts please
 
Well... those Diablo knights are my only enemy ideas for DMC5.

Anyway, may I make suggestions of the weapons (since you already have some for now) and Dante's and Nero's costumes?

Dante's Costume: Needs to have a SWAT look on him and can still keep the red trenchcoat.

Nero's Costume: Nero can wear either a blue or purple jacket with a vest that'll carry his Blue Rose revolver. The jacket can also carry the Order of the Sword Symbol but this time it'll have Nero's arm replacing it.

^ Ooh! Ooh! Kusari-Gama! Yay for chain-scythes! For the guitar though... Is he gonna bash people with it, or is he gonna use it to summon fire, ice, or something else a la Nevan from DMC 3? Oh, and just so you know, the Nightmare that's gonna be in this game is called Nightmare Delta. My idea, so I should remember the name! :D

I think I could accurately describe what I believe Dante's UDT will look like... He'll have long, white hair, with one angelic wing and another demonic wing. His coat will be more form fitting and his body grows armor all over it. You won't be able to see his face, save for his two glowing eyes, one dark red, the other a bright blue. His feet will be bestial, consisting of two toes in front and one toe in back. (Like a bird or a lizard) He'll also have a tail. His entire body will have streaks of white energy coursing through him. (If you've played Zone of the Enders, it's like the metatron streams in the mechs.) Finally, he'll have a purple aura with a white outline, signifying Sparda and Eva.

Probably not what you had in mind, but it works for a temporary fix, right? ;)
