Also I want to start coming up with some of Dante's "lesser angel" enemies but I'm having trouble thinking them up. I imagine that the higher into heavens you get, the more beautiful & deadly the angels would get... Also, as a list her is Dante's boss's SO FAR -

Demi-Agnos - Very Large Flaming, classical Demon

Harpy (Griffons Sister) - Chained & Tortured By The Higher Archangels

Rafail & Mihail - Twin Male Archangels (High Rank/Very Honourable)

Destroyer Archangel (Katastrophi) - Highest Rank Female Archangel

Archangel General - EPICNESS!!!

There would be more in between of coarse... & Harpie... I like it for an oppertunity to show how brutal some of the higher angels are... Imagine Harpie, similar to griffin but jet black with lightning all over her body, her "wings" chained and torn to shreds with holes all over her body, revealing crimson electricity. After the fight, even Dante feels compassion for the beast and she asks him to release her, tired of the angels torment. He complies and kills her. The "bad angels" are hardcore. Also I am imagining the angels in two groups... The General and his followers, the "Tyrants of Heaven"and the normal, honorable & fair angels (classic angels). Kind of like a small angel rebel clan. They aid Dante in his ascention, realizing his incredible, hidden power & push him towards the showdown to end all showdowns!

Alright. Here are a couple "lesser angels"

Lifegiver: An armored man with wings and a large sword. Similar to Alto Angelo's, but 100% real. When flying, the armor drags him down slightly.
Grab: Dante grabs the Lifegiver's sword and pulls out Rebellion, stabbing the Lifegiver with both.

Peacekeeper: Looks like the "classic" angel. They carry holy bows to snipe the heavenly kingdom's enemies. If they're cornered, they can also use swords.
Grab: Dante takes the bow and puts a potshot right between the Peacekeeper's eyes.

Also, SuperDante, I think everything you've put up so far is GREAT! Keep it coming, you've got us all in a state of suspense, I think.

DMC5 Dante Boss

Demi-Agnos - A vile, powerful higher demon who actually serves as muscle to the General. Having seen Demi-Agnos's impressive power and fierceness, the General defeated Agnos, then offered him a position on his throne, to defend him at all costs. In return, the General would spare the demon and give him immunity if there were ever a war between heaven and hell. Knowing of Dante's approach, the General commands Agnos to attack the Devil Hunter and stop him from reaching the gates of heaven. I'm thinking a massive, classical demon, hoofed feet and large, muscular goat like legs, very heavily muscled upper body, horns & a tail made out of hellfire and wielding a massive Devil Axe that wields the power of fire and darkness. Also can sprout enormous flaming wings that wraps around his body and act as a shield. When he flaps his wings, hurricane like winds will force you back. The axe itself can deal enormous damage, but Agnos can also attack with punches, kicks, charge attacks, tail whips and a large number of flame/wind attacks. Towers around 25 feet tall. Think of him as this games Beriel! Serves as Dante's first real boss battle.

Its the same Agnus since DMC4 right?

No. He used a different spelling of the Latin word Ignis, which means fire. Agnos and Agnus both mean fire as well, they just have different pronunciations, and they each represent a more intense fire, with Agnos being the largest, and ignis being the smallest.

BTW, just for feedback, are you guys happy with my idea of Dante having TRACES of angelic blood in him. I know it changes the character a lot but I think it is good for growth and it gives a glimpse of something completely different (I don't know of another Demon/Human/Angel hybrid LOL). Also it is a good excuse to make my favorite character of all time more powerful :D And when you think about it, Vergil has the same potential so it makes for a good continuation of the series without Nero getting too far ahead of Vergil (they are going to have a showdown in the 6th game and I can't imagine anyone wants Vergil to lose :D) Also what are your thoughts of making Eva more important in the plot. It's the only way I knew how to really fire Dante up.

I think it's AWESOME! This is REALLY good stuff. As for not wanting Vergil to lose his fight... Perhaps there could be two fights. A boss fight against Vergil, and then a cutscene later where Vergil wins. Or vice versa. Cuz I think we ALL want to fight Vergil again, and this time, as Nero! Yeah, I like Nero just a little bit more than Dante (READ: A LITTLE), but that's probably because I like new things. Nero may not be as mature or as cool, but he's new. And that proves Capcom is willing to lose fans to try something new. And it worked.

Coincidently Agnos, also means pure[male form] in greek.Great for a double meaning pun. Also here is something i posted a while ago :

Exaptera/Herouveim [spelling ?] : Elite Angels that Dante fights upon reaching "Heaven".They are like the DT version of Dante, faster, stronger and more menacing than normal Dante but more beautifull.
Grab : None.Nero doesn't face them.
Buster : Dante fights with one and "loses" the Rebellion in the fight. He then goes DT and calls the sword back to him, stabbing the enemy from behind and unleashes a fierce combo of brutal attacks ending with him getting back the Rebellion and slicing the enemy in half. And returning to normal.

It's in page eight, along with two common enemies.

Ah yes. That was in the same post as that Metal Hybrid Demon, correct? Anyway, here's one more...

Daywalker: An angel with large, metallic wings (Think Meta Ridley) and one arm is mechanical. They're a project created by the Archangel General. They attack with a short sword and they can also whip their arm around.
Grab: Dante grabs the Daywalker by it's arm and throws it around, making the arm stretch. Dante then used the Daywalker like a whip, then he throws it.

LOL Im actually stumped on the Generals name... It kinda has to be perfect, something that gives the impression of absolute power, I will eventually get it. Also love your angel enemy ideas... we have 3 "lesser angels" and one of the more difficult ones + 3 Angel boss's. You're right Dreadnought... it isn't DMC4's Agnus. All those enemies are dead and buried and he wouldn't even be worth putting in this game, Dante AND Nero are waaaay stronger in this game. Now for the General's first form, I was thinking of maybe a 7 foot tall, well muscled man completely covered in shiny silver armor (if you guys have seen the trailer for the new clash of the titans movie, think Liam Neelson's Zeus character.) He would have a golden, bright aura and wield a very large, powerful Holy sword. He could summon a shield made out of holy light that can blind you and block all attacks. Moves incredibly fast, like Trickster, seemingly teleporting around and his Swordmanship matches Dante's. If you manage to disarm him, he will attack with punches and kicks. The more you damage him, his armor will fly off, revealing pure light. After you beat his 1st form, you face his giant (Savior size), true form. This form is far more powerful. Imagine metal like stone with cracks all over it, revealing blinding light. You must shatter the skin all over his massive body to weaken him and enter DT to do any real damage. Oh and his 3rd form is "Fallen General" mode.

Oh and before you fight the General, the pre-fight cutscene will see Dante start to unlock his hidden power, so you would glow with a heat-like aura during the whole battle (when not in DT) as normal Dante wouldn't stand a chance. Think of it as constant Unholy Focus, you need to be like this to face the Highest Angel.

Oh & when you face the General in your suped up mode, Rebellion, if equip, would constantly glow red like it did when it was charged up in DMC4, so it could actually damage the General. Think of it as a fully powered up Rebellion, Dante's angelic power unlocking the swords true potential.

Yeah... much more powerful than ANYTHING we have faced before... even Mundus will look normal compared to this guy. I can just picture it, especially the first form fight. Dante, glowing with his new power taking on this large, shiny and in a way, beautiful Angel who has all the skills of the Son of Sparda and then some. Imagine the gameplay taking this guy on. And the cutscene after you defeat the first form... there would be insane swordsplay in which Dante would, after putting some distance between them, hurls a glowing Rebellion at the General like a spear, pull out E & I & shoot two, supercharged, jackpot style bullets. The General would summon his holy shield but the supercharged bullets would break the shield in half. Then Rebellion would violently pierce his chestpiece and Dante would charge like never before, performing a flying, spinning back kick, driving Rebellion all the way through the Generals chest as lightning releases from the Angels body. Dante would think himself the victor until the General starts to transform into his true form, laughing at the increasingly small Hybrid who dares to challenge his power... DUN DUN DUN!!!

Oh GOD... At least we don't have to fight God himself in this. That would be the most impossible boss fight EVER!

Yeah lol I couldn't imagine Dante wanting to kill god... then again hehe. Consider the General only one step down from god. I imagine this fight, especially on higher difficulties, taking at least 10-15 minutes for a very good player to finish all three forms, but that is 10-15 mins of CONSTANT attacking, blocking, dodging, special attacks. Pure epic lol In comparison, it would be a lot easier to play through Nero's story first, and the General & Dante being the games final, masterpiece battle. Mind you, Nero won't have it too easy himself lol

I like these ideas all of us keep coming up with. What do you say we E-Mail this to Capcom once we get it all done and over with, eh?
