I wasn't saying God WAS a boss, I was saying it'd be CRAP if he was... Also, Here's a small plot I whipped up.
Imagine the narrator from Trauma Center: New Blood saying this.

It's been five years since the Hellgate Incident. Fortuna has since rebuilt, and it's residents are now at peace. Leading Fortuna during this calm is none other than Nero, the towns young savior. However, demonic forces are again on the rise, along with a bitter race of Archangels, who want nothing more than to see all demons dead. Even Nero and Dante, who've done so much to help the world, are deemed "unholy" by these Archangels, and have become prime targets...

Meanwhile, Dante sits at Devil May Cry, pondering the sudden increase in demonic activity, unaware of his true role in this grand scheme...

Very nice my friend... I like the idea of Nero starting in a rebuilt Fortuna, living with Kyrie of coarse. And Dante starting like typical Dante, just sitting around his shop... and we know what is to come... feel free to put up lots more of these descriptions of certain points in the game... I want to hear you guys on scenes in the story I'm creating, maybe Dreadnought, since you like Nero more than me you could take care of his side of the story for me Give's me more thinking capacity to perfect Dante's side

I think the Archangels would want Dante out of the way mainly as the General knows of his potential and incredible hidden power. Also he has more of a Vendetta against Dante, after all he killed Eva, fought with Sparda (who I'm thinking lost to the General! And transfered his essence to the Dvil Bringer?!?) & now wants to finish the last remnance of Eva & Sparda. Nero must face his own destiny as the new Legendary Dark Knight & also the incredible responsability put on him by Dante who leaves the humans under his protection, since Dante thinks this will be his last mission.

Then if DMC7 appears, maybe Dante will have a son, maybe when he comes back on DMC6 when Vergil and Nero work together to find him.

Anyway, about the weapons/devil arms and fire arms. Got any demon names for them? What are the techniques?

Can Lucia return on DMC6 or 5?

I have a good idea that would give the plot another twist! Tell me if this sounds good...

Dante is walking around the palace of heaven, down a corridor, to a big room. The room is full of cages with chained up Blades, Assaults, Frosts, and Blitz. However, you hear one of the cages open, and Dante peeks around the corner. You see Lucifer stroking the crest of an Assault (O_O) and petting it. It then seems to cozy up to him like a dog. He snaps his fingers, the chains break, and the muzzle disappears. The Assault runs past Dante without so much as a glance. This would set up a cutscene where Lucifer confesses his partiallity towards humans and demons, and tells Dante: "I let her go, yes. She used to be a good friend of mine, but she fell from grace. Now she lives as that twisted lizard, but I still love her... Setting her free was the least I could do for her."

What do you think? Having the second-in-command actually be partial to the demons and humans?

Also, I think Nero's Devil Bringer should have matured a bit, so that now it covers his whole arm and part of his chest. Oh, and he only wears sleeveless shirts for that reason. Showoff... I think Nero's part of the story, while focused on the demonic invasion of Earth, should also be focused on the fact that once his DB matures, he won't be human anymore. He'll become a pure-blooded demon. Now, that doesn't mean he'll be evil. (He's Sparda reincarnate, for pete's sake!) But he might be shunned by society, and he'll only ever be able to live in Fortuna as their leader and savior.

Oh i think you should.Check this out :

God will appear as an elderly man,issuing orders in Heaven.He is responsible for everything that happens in the game,even Eva's death.He appears in [almost]every cutscene that the general appears
Right before the final boss,Dante arrives at Heaven's pick and sees God standing on his throne.When he attempts to charge at him the General stops and do the first boss fight.When it finishes Dante approaches God to kill him,but suddenly God gets down from his thrown begging for his life.All puzzled,including Dante himself,start questioning about "God's Absolute power" and this stuff when he suddenly explodes via telepathy.Dante turns to see that the general is alive.Before they fight thought,the General explains Dante that there is no God.Similar to politicias and world leaders,he is just a figure of power,a puppet that the General controls.So when "God" gave orders,appeared on cutscenes and commanded everyone,that was all the General's doing.Nobody knows this but the general.And throughout the game,the general will appear as a cold soldier following "God's orders" and even "shows" fear against his "Lords" power.Then the second part starts.

Short story : God = General's puppet and figure of power,while he is ruling everything by the shadows,masterfully pulling all the strings with "God" ever since humanity started praying at the christian God.

Yo I'm back.Didn't see that before.Well opinion time :

Hmmm...it's not bad,but i'd prefer it this way[don't know if SuperDante agrees] :

Leave Katastrophi as she is,but focus on her twin sister Lucifer.Katastrophi is the kind of...evil...[hard to put in words]...anyway,she is just pure evil,third rank and she cares only about her sister,as does her sister.

Now Lucifer is pretty much an unfinished character,but SuperDante proposed something very interesting,as did you not only in your recent post but before too.Lucifer could turn excelent with your ideas,but i think we should have a kind of character like Katastrophi intact.That lone wolf,horrid bitch,great actress,smug,overconfident but with strenght to much her bragging and much more,defiant and caring and loving only her sister.With all her Angel trigger and stuff.

To complete the list of "Final Bosses" we need the second in comand[the first is the general,God doesn't count] and Lucifer.If you guys want them to be the person it's all right with me.If not special officer,or fallen commander are fine too.

god: (laughing) thank you. Dante... your blood between devil and angel... is different. Are you ready to ascend like your father did?
Dante: If it means leaving the human world for a while.... I think I'll manage for the moment. I'll return someday.
(Then a bright light shines)

If Katastrophi looked the way I expected her to, then yes. For me she's this beautiful girl with angelic wings and a shiny bow. For my brother, she's a hardcore woman with dirty golden armor all over her body, with a big sword to match. On second thought, Lucifer, who seems to be in a state of ambivalence right now, fits the role better. I was also thinking that IF Katastrophi was to let one of the demons go, it would be as a cruel trick. She'd probably much rather shove light down their throats to see their bursting point than set them free...

Well..I don't think appearence is all that counts in this series[Sparda's the best example...even if i personally have NOT seen a backed-up toilet] but anyway.And yes Katastrophi can resort to such low deeds since according to her[and i imagine the general too]she views humans,demons[and the weak] as trash,so...

Really? You'd think that since she's an angel, she'd be above such gory things as bursting a demon like an overfilled water balloon... Actually, that'd be nice to see, considering she's supposedly "pure" evil. It would root it in the players mind that she cares nothing for humans and even less for demons. (That, and I [admittedly] have a "slight" inflation fetish...) Also, I think the name "Lucifer" fits a man better, so when I went and edited my post, I called Lucifer by male pronouns. Maybe Katastrophi could have a different twin, with a different name, since Lucifer doesn't really fit a woman... Or, K and L could be twins, but only maternal twins. Meaning they were born at the same (roughly) time. Please go back and check my post. I edited it extensively.

Yup,you're right about Katastrophi.Her name fits her and so everything else.As for Lucifer,Lucifer comes from latin meaning he/she who brings the light/dawn[the original meaning was dawn but what the heck] that is the direct translation of Satan's original[and greeck]name : Εωςφόρος[Eosforos] and means "He who brings the dawn"[and light as christians dubbed it].The latin translation however isn't clear about the gender,that's why i chose the name.I don't mind with Lucifer being a man,the ideas around Katastrophi's older twin are all nice[and your edited post].I created Lucifer to be female,since she would somehow be the "good twin",leaving with justice[even twisted] yet with a heavy burden and a love that strangely her/his sister would share despite being all "pure evil".But i don't know how..."Angel mating" works[Woman h dear*pants* I'M IN HEAVEN.Man : of course darling we're angels after all.LULZ] or if angels are created.That's SuperDante's work to inform us of the angels biology,but yeah these two are twins despite Lucifer being male or female.While Katastrophi is my "child",i gave her someone to care and to contradict her personality greatly shown in [nearly] every way.With that being said go nuts about Lucifer as long as :

- Is the older twin
- Serves as the opossite of Katastrophi
- Has light/and fire techniques
- Loves Katastrophi more than anything[like she does]
- Holds no grudge against anybody
- Values life[not this : human = vermin thing]

That's it.
