Rebellion:
-In this game, as Dante's powers grow, so does Rebellions. While the other weapons can be upgraded 3x, after playing through the game once, you can further upgrade Rebellion another lvl. It is extremely powerful and Dante wields it at breathtaking speed. Is the only weapon in DMC that doubles as not only a Devil Arm but also an Angel Arm. Contains Demonic AND Angelic Properties.

Orthrus:
-Dark Power Gauntlets that Dante can wield with such power and speed that once fully upgraded, he will leave streaking images of himself due to the speed he moves at. When Dante connects with an enemy, he does incredible damage and he can also shoot dark energy at his foes that sends them sprawling IF they survive the initial impact. He can also supercharge certain attacks to further increase the damage and range.

Lindorm:
Flaming Dual Kusarigama's - Chains Glow Orange (Condensed Hellfire)
Think of it, range wise, as the chains Kratos uses in God Of War. While Dante wields these chains much differently, the general idea remains the same, these are your "long range" DA's that Dante can wield like a flaming hurricane!

Ophanim:
Holy Spear Like Weapon - Magical/Heavenly Powers
A very powerful AA that relies on powerful swings and tramendously fast stabs. Dante wields it like a staff, spinning it around with impossible skill. This spear wields the power of holy light. He can charge the spear for some special attacks.

Seraphim:
-A heavenly, spiked shield that can take on many forms, all for offense. While the range of the weapon isn't overly impressive, the damage it can do is. Wields many different types of powers making for an impressive movelist. Very good for close, personal encounters :D

EDIT: Sorry, wrong names! Had to switch Seraphim (Spiked shield) and Ophanim (Spear)

So here is DMC5 Dante SO FAR

-Trickster
-Swordmaster
-Gunslinger
-Royal Guard
-Demon Magics

This Dante moves like RE5 Wesker & attacks with
unrivaled strength & power. He is fully in tune with
his demonic powers and only gets stronger the further
you go. When fully upgraded, he is an unstoppable force
(Even more than usual :P) In the end, he unlocks his full
potential - roughly DOUBLE Sparda thanks to his Angelic Blood!

And how about, for Katastrophies sisters name, Lulifer the Benevolence?

Um.. about the multi-purpose weapon..... It should be something like a gundam's mobile suit, but maybe kinda like Metal Gear Rex or something.............

Arsenal
- Torpedo Launcher
- Vulcan
- Submachine Guns
- Boomerang
- Shield

^ Gundam idea FTW! But seriously, that would be nice. A little nod to the Gundam series by having an angelic mech fight a demonic mech. Would that be too much for a DMC game though?

^It's called DemonBane for now by Nitro+.Though it already overpowers everything in the world[Yes even Ideon in case some wonder by far].Although it would be cool if they could add Mecha Heroes[if anyone knows about the Tekkaman Blade series and/or Detonator Orgun]to make it good.

Thanks for the compliment.

Any luck on the weapons movelists? The devil arm names... will they be bosses or something? Why not call one of the fire arms Cherubim?

hey guys... sorry I haven't been on l8ly... been swamped with work... I had sum more ideas on my story... I think maybe the General should have more of a back story... like maybe he was originally an Archangel Devil Hunter - almost lyk the Dante of heaven and had much the same attitude. However, for reasons yet to be explained, he slowly "turned to the darkside" so to speak and turned into the way he is now. Also, I would lyk this game to explore Dante's dark side a little more (I don't mean to sound so star wars about it) and have him slowly going down the General's path without knowing it. He would still be "Dante" in the traditional DMC way (****iness, confidence etc) but you would start to see different aspects of the character come through. I was thinking of achieving this by going back to Eva's death. I don't know if any of you guys have seen Dexter, but I was going to make her death as brutal as Dexters mothers death and as the past is continually brought up, it begins to affect Dante more and more. One more thing, do you think Dante should be fully half Demon, half Angel or Demon/Human with TRACES of angel blood. Thoughts plz

This could lead to another possible cliffhanger ending... after killing the General and unlocking his true power, maybe you could see Dante kneeling in the wake of the Generals explosion... he rises to his full height and when he opens his eyes, they are now glowing light, just like the Generals were... has he now turned evil or not? This could set up the final fight of the next game, the player "you" as Vergil, with Nero as your A.I OR second player vs Dante! So it would be Vergil & Nero, both at full potential, trying to get Dante to regain his "good self" and still struggling against him. I think it would be cool if he beat them both but naturally comes to his senses instead of killing em. Could also be pretty crazy! Hope you guys lyk the idea... I just want to explore Dante's demon side a little more and make him a bit darker (not emo)! LOL
With this game and the next game, it would be a possible cool way to close the story. The final and HARDEST boss is Dante himself! Not like DMC4 Dante boss fight but the TRUE Dante.

what if Nero were corrupted from the power of yamato and turned evil? Vergils small piece of soul that was left inside yamato took control of neros unsuspected mind and tries to regain his physical form.. or something like that

Also, and you'll hate this DreadnoughtDT, I was thinking of making my story a 2 part game - 5 & 6 and having 5 completely focus on Dante. My reasoning for this is to make Dante's ascention a very deep, dark and personal game/journey for Dante. Don't get me wrong, Nero will be in plenty of cutscenes but the bulk of the story & all of the gameplay will be Dante. It will be a very dark and full on game that fully fleshes Dante out... really gives all the Dante fans (me one of the biggest) a big piece of cake with a cherry on top:) I will leave the ending open by giving the impression that Dante has taken the Generals place and turned. Games 6 will be about a resurrected Vergil (which will have to do with his Angelic blood but more on that later) and Nero (who unlocks the power of Sparda) meeting, fighting, then forming an alliance to stop/save Dante but with a very satisfying ending. I just thought that with everything I am doing with Dante, story, gameplay etc, there really isn't room for another character... there issimply too much I plan to do with Dante, and I think you guys on this thread will like it a lot. But don't worry, once I finish Dante, it will be Vergil & Nero. Thoughts please

I really don't care. You made it up. :P You seem to be a Nero hater, though. I think he deserves a chance. I for one, really like Nero. He just needs to grow up a bit. Alright, that may have seemed harsh, but I just wanted to say it.

Getting off that subject, I think that maybe it could still be one game, but with multiple discs. One with Dante, one with Nero, once with Vergil, and then a bonus disc with Bloody Palace, the Library, and the cutscene/promo art viewer. How's that sound? I like it.

yeah ur right... I am a bit of a Nero hater lol I think just coz I'm such a Dante fan, but I will mature the character in my story to make him more likable. Also I love your idea of the three disc epic. I think I would have it in the order that the first story, you play as Nero. The center piece, you play as Dante & in the finale, you play as Vergil. Nero's story will take place on earth, Dante story would be "Dante's Ascention" and Vergil's story would be him clawing his way out of the lowest parts of hell and finding out what happened to Dante. I think a game of that size would sell like hotcakes if it had the mad storyline!

That's a great idea, yet not for Capcom since it will be something like :
"Screw the special edition package,we are going to bundle everything in one edition without being greedy" kind-of thingy.Yet it's not bad at all ii might add. After all,DMC6 Should be about Vergil and Nero calming Dante down.

Here's a strange idea : How about Vergil being Half Human-Half Demon and Dante being Half Angel-Half Demon?Since Eva had traces of angel blood,i thought why not.Faulty genetics i know, but it would be fun.

well my thought were that when Eva fell from grace, her Angelic properties were "suppressed" and now so are Dante's, his "human blood" is actually dormant "Angel Blood" so he is in a sense a full half demon, half angel. He will become something new as Nero takes Dante's place as the half human/half demon. Not sure yet!

And I was thinking of making the General a half Demon/half Angel as well but his Angel side is more prominent whereas Dante's demon side is prominent, hence why Dante has to be careful not to go down the same path the General did 3000yrs beforehand!

^I don't know why,but i felt a Sesshomaru complex coming from Vergil,so i thought of this.Forget what i said earlier,Vergil can't awake his "angel blood" due to being him[personality etc]and also wishing to be the ultimate demon,i think he will eventually find a way to do that,he only embraces his demonic aspects, while Dante keeps everything without a problem.
