Remedy had created their own universe between Alan Wake and Control.

They would add Max Payne and Quantum Break but rights issues prevent that. Remedy has a good relationship with Rockstar games- Max Payne's current publisher. So we could get a Max Payne 4 if the remake sells well.

Oh i know all that, but after the dead space remake shenanigans recently i will not put stock in a max payne 4 based off remake sales just yet

Megaman X- there was a cancelled reboot and a series of Remakes started. So i wouldn't mind if they got ressurected.

Controversial opinion perhaps, but I wouldn’t want to see a fourth Max Payne game. The series had a solid end with 3 and I don’t see what more they can really do with Max’s story.

@Lain they could put him in a mentor role, have 2 playable characters and introduce his apprentice/protege as the 2nd one.

That leaves an opening for him to pass on his knowledge to a new generation, and become a father figure.This makes the old fans happy, and may bring im new fans.The only downside of it would be the change of voice actor, but they could also do a prequel for 4 too with a young max in the academy and that solves that problem.

I do agree with you though, 3 has a great ending so 4 needs to be a look at a part of his life we haven't seen. Either before the events of 1, or as i mentioned above where is the secondary and mentor character.

Its not an uncommon opinion in the fandom. 3 is considered Rockstar's baby than Remedy's. So seeing an alternate path is perferablle. But its not the highest priority on my list. Im just curious.

I wanted Max to crossover with the other Remedy games. Having him work for the Bureau of Control would be a genre hop. He's an everyman protagonist in the world of the strange.

I would love a remake and sequel to rise to honor from ps2, a jet li game.

Concrete genie felt like a cool project that could be Sony's answer to KH and Persona.

You could lean into Alan Wake's power of creation and have Ash be able to use his art to affect reality.

I would love a modern take on the action espionage mission impossible games.

So, this is a little jesting, but I'm gonna list some games that are all but officially dead in my eyes. ...not like, personally dead to me due to a grudge or something, lol, but I have 0 faith that their IP owners will make another game. Other forms of media, sure. But not games.

Given AAA (and Rockstar specifically) development cycles, I expect RDR3 around 2030 at the earliest. Maybe 2035ish. I'd be curious who they build the story around and what time period. Young Dutch? Or maybe they expand on Red Dead REVOLVER world lol. Make 2 Red Dead universes.

As for FF15, there is that mobile kingdom sim game, A New Empire, if that counts lol.

I wanted Dutch and Hosea to appear in Red Dead revolver 2. Revolver ends with Red going on the run after killing his nemesis. So he would fall in with the Van der linde gang while evading the law. You can have the honor system be represented by those two characters.

People like the idea of Mac Callander being the lead. I feel that would only work if he was the turncoat Agent Milton talked about.

His epilogue would be interacting with Charles, Sadie and Jack.
