DmC - What We know so far

Mundus wants the baby. exchange is made for kat. but it goes wrong. she gives birth to her hell spawn which is a fully grown (im thinking female) demon that fights dante.

It's also bloody long. I'll do a rough rundown...if you have any concerns, I suggest that you make a conversation with me, but since it's too far-fetched, you might as well not.

Dante fought through his childhood with demons and grown to a certain age.
One day a member of the order shows up on his doorstep and tries to recruit him.(Which is Kat)
At first he ignores her but after being attacked by a "Behemoth" Kat informs that she knows Dantes family and secrets, and he decides to follow her.
At the orders HQ, he sees Vergil and he explains the demons clutches and Vilirity's side-effects.
In order to make a investigation he asks Dante as his brother, to help him out. Also Vergil says their parents are still alive somewhere. Dante agrees with the condition to let him see his parents.
By that time Mundus has impregnated Lilith, in order for the accension of Hell and the preparations for his heir.
(Missions include capturing Lilith and fighting Mundus in the middle of the story)
Finally it was revealed by the analasis that Vilirity's powers originally came from Vergils inventions, nano-machines that made him rich. The reason why Vergil invested to Mundus is that he thought his inventions will make a world without wars or discrimination by making the worlds populations mind closer to each other. (Which Mundus betrayed him, which explains why Vergil is fighting)
They manage to capture Lilith but Dante and Vergil got trapped when they were on a mission together. And got their angel/demon genes extracted. But due to help from the order, they got out of the facility.
Vergil tries to kill off Lilith, but Dante says no to the idea.
He also declares that the sort of"Hive-mind" control isn't just the way, with all of the sacrifices done at first.
Vergil sticks to his ideal, and has a temporary fight with Dante, but since it was true that his plan was used by Mundus in a fiendish way, he tears his ideal away and fights with his brother and manages to seal off mundus.(With Phineas's clues of Mundus weakness)

After the fight Phineas reveals his true face and takes the genes of the Brothers and become Sparda and they fight the last battle.

I will say there are some things in it that we already knew from the trailers. The extra parts I'm not sure of because of the fact it was posted by people who are against DmC. If you got it from a neutral source it would be easier to believe. So I agree with others, that it would be good to be skeptical about it.
 
Guys, When Dante get the white hair in the 13 mission, he will still have his same haircut off course, but in the 18 or the final mission, is his hair going to change to the original Dante's haircut?

I don't care about the hair btw, black or white.. this game is awesome.. but just a random question :)
 
So I'm going to go ahead and call BS on the storyline leak. I have good reasons why: (SPOILERS)

  1. Capcom have already confirmed that Vergil made money off software
  2. That /vg/ leak (which turned out to be true) mentioned that Mundus doesn't know of Dante and Vergil
  3. This new leaker fails to mention that Dante's hair becomes more white throughout the story
  4. He fails to mention the Vault, which is obviously a crucial part of the story since it has its own trophy/achievement.

I think Vergil look at his best in DmC.. his voice and look in DMC3 was.. not that good, but he had amazing quotes and i hope the same for DmC Vergil. the one in DmC is SO MUCH better than the old design, i kinda hate it at first that he is good in DmC and probably not going to fight Dante. but after reading the achievements.. Can't wait to remake of the old school Dante vs Vergil fight in DMC3. so epic

He wasn't really evil in DMC3 either he was more of an anti-hero. I'm sure in this one he won't be evil either and probably has ulterior motives for why spoiler[he fights dante]

I know he wasn't evil in DMC3, but from Dante's view, Vergil is an enemy. which is my view also.
Still a beast character overall.
 
Good and evil, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. Hopefully just not one of these Beholders...

Vergil was an antagonist, at best. His views were not in line with the protagonist, and he really just didn't care for others' well-beings to get achieve his goals. It doesn't make him inherently evil or anything :P Some of the greatest stories have no "evil" characters, just those with differing views.

By the way. there was another "spoiler" posted which the bosses and weaponry are written down.
these guys stupidity has no end...they don't even know the missions order.

well, first it claims that you will get DT after you get the eye of phineas which is in possesion of barbus.
(which you all know that the eye is caught in the nest of harpies...and it is too obvious that secret area has something to do with DT)

I'll post more of this load of rubbish afterwards...it's tough for my mobile.
 
Crush, I read your post regarding the "spoilers"...

I don't know what to think about it, but I have to say that a lot of stuff made sense, lol. Hopefully it's everything a joke, but let's wait and see.


I remember a guy from 4chan saying a lot of things and basically everything he said, happened. He told about Vergil being the man behind the mask. He told about Lilith and Mundus sex scene, he told about the first mission where you can throw enemies against gears. He even said there is a joke scene with a white wig that falls on Dante's head, with him stating "not in a million years" or something like that.

The bosses are the Hunter, hecatonchires, barbus, succubus, Vergil (1st battle), Mundus kid, Mundus. Vergil(2nd)
(There seems no Lilith fight. But the guy misstypes everytime and write "Lily" instead.
I guess we must keep our heads down if there is such as boss called hecatonchires I suppose...)
You get the Osiris from the amulet, Eryx from hecatonchires and Aquila from succubus.
As I said earlier you defeat barbus to get DT and phineas's eye.
And he says you Mundus spawn battle is like Nightmare from DMC1.
In his 1st battle Vergil will use Revenant against you. You will get the gun after you beat him.
The 2nd battle he will use his DT that resembles Nelo Angelo.
If you are beaten by Mundus while his life is low. There will be a special death scene where Mundus will inject his spawn inside Dante.

It's 2chan again. But again it seems a load of utter garbage. It seems haters are now making up fake stories so that fans will think DmC's storyline is bad. Even the anti-thread says it's not worth believing in
