My Vergil sense told me about that few days ago. lol
Goddammit! Now I have to buy the game! I saw the trailer for Vergil's Downfall and I was freakin' impressed with how hellish the world looked and Vergil's new abilities. I think it would be a far better story than the main storyline.
Not just yet. I still need to reconcile some stuff about the game first. I already posted up a question as a thread. The rest I can find out on my own.

You're right, and we see how that turned out. Heath was a fantastic joker and alot of the naysayers have gone back on their word and now adore his iteration.
Despite this though. Jack Nicholson was still the better Joker of the two.

people just love jumping on the band wagon of hating something. if it turns out to be good they just instantly say "nah i was for it from the beginning"
Ah that's your opinion. I find Ledger to be a much better Joker, different tastes.

thats enitrely subjective. i think heath ledger was better but jack nicholsons performance was no joke (geddit) so i can see why u wud say that.

Exactly! It shows some people are just afraid of change. Even when they changed Dante's face just a small amount people started flipping out.
And I agree I wanted this Dante in DMC4, not the Alec Baldwin looking Dante.
They were both fantastic for the time they were made. Neither really captured what makes joker so great in comics in my humble opinion
Fun Fact:
Here in Germany the Game is rated 16+ by the USK, which I find funny, because in the US it's rated M.... which normally implies an 18+ Rating from the USK here in Germany. That also means that the nudity and violence parts cannot be that heavy!

^ Doesn't Germany and Australia sometimes get revised versions of games though? I think I recall reading about a handful of gore-fest games being toned down in order to meet Ger/Aus rating requirements, so that they would be allowed on store shelves.
