DmC - What We know so far

Wow I'm still a bit skeptical and that boss battle looked mad easy. Poison looked more challenging.

Well it is as the good old book says, "Not all boss battles are created equal." One thing's for sure though, this battle with Bob is Hella funny and is sure to be a highlight in my play through.

There is a difference between having one boss being the easiest boss in a game rather than being freakin easy even the first boss of DMC, DMC3, & DMC4 weren't as easy as Bob as shown in the video.

hay guys i didnt want to make a thread about this so here goes.......

okk so its nothing new but something caught my attention at 3:49 when he says that the order is a group of hakers jamers and scientists so i was wondering what are those for?? anyone have any idea?:)

he said culture jammers which could be people studying how demons have affected our culture.

hackers could be people who try to find info demons have hidden but could also be witches, shamans etc people who can "hack" the natural world.

scientists could be people who study demons to find weaknesses.

I've watched the Vergil trailer and the interview you've posted...

There are some differences between the Vergil reveal trailer and the trailer shown during Jones interview...

In the new one ( that you've posted), you can clearly see Kat being shot by soldiers, from behind. She is talking to someone ( don't shoot), but another person shoots her. Then, between 2:55 to 2:58, you can see Kat on the floor, suffering.

There is the part at 3:01 to 3:05 that wasn't in the reveal trailer. It looks like the last mission, lol.

Other than that, good stuff, thanks for that. XD

True, true. The thing is though, I don't think that we were shown the whole fight. I may be wrong but there seems to be alot more to that battle., They may have cut it short because they don't wanna give away much. From what I've seen with Poison, I think NT knows what they're doing. One thing I'm sure of is that these boss fights will be more than just me trying to figure out patterns to figure out when to evade and counter. Each boss fight seems to provide a bit of story/backstory that is not just there to take up time while the fight loads... at least that's what I'm hoping.

I've heard from a very reliable source that there's going to be a boss called asteroth or something similar, so what things in society do hipsters complain about that they haven't shown yet in dmc that we might see him be in charge of, or could it be lilith's baby.
who's this reliable source?

they prefer to be anonymous,

Hi people,
been a long time reader, since there was nothing I could really talk about, I'm from Germany and had the opportunity to go to Gamescom and test the PS3 version of DmC. I've been testing out some of the moves and after running through some combat (which was damn fluid and way more responsive than some people on the web want to believe), I figured out Risíng Rainstorm and Normal Rainstorm moves might be evasive moves. Since they aren't Angel or demon variants of the charged Ricochet Shot (damn fun move to use). I only had about 10 minutes with the game, but that was the only button combination that a) makes sense for the control sheme and b) I had not testet due to time constraints.

All that said, I was a critic in the beginning but after the latest trailers and testing out the thing for myself, I can only say, it is Devil May Cry and for me it'll be a day one buy^^

something that i just thought about which almost everyone skipped the achievement/trophy it says kill 100 demons..
this would be a very stupid achievement/trophy because all of what dante kills really is demons so you will get this achievement/trophy whether you like it or not but what i had in mind maybe this game is not like every other DMC and what i mean is every other DMC you had to kill all enemies to advance what if this game you can skip the enemies and i know we saw in the gameplay the path closes everytime there is enemies but what if this path closing thing is not everywhere what if its just certain parts... i know this sounds stupid but think about it why would they put an achievement/trophy like that if youre gonna get anyways... or maybe theyre just handing out achievements/trophies but i just thought its something to think about

In DMC4 there was an achievement to kill 100,000 demons or was it 10,000 demons.....either way that is how you do it Ninja Theory.
