Honestly after seeing the gameplay of the DmC "The Fight" I gotta say...This new game (To me) makes the old game look abit...flamboyant. Not that I'm hatin' but the new Dante looks more street smart while DMC Dante seems more "fight first and look cool."
I'm sorry, but he looks bad ass.
DmC seems more darker, serious, and more tougher like DMC1. It just doesn't try to look stylish, but more kick-ass. Besides, a demon hunter is a demom hunter, and DmC Dante is just "Based" off the original or an alternate version not related to the original that much. Ninja theory's version. And if this DmC Dante was the Dante used in DMC1, then the white haired Dante would have been looked at as an "albino blood otaku douchebag." (That's what one of my friends said when I first showed him DMC)
Say what you want, but this new Dante is infact: BAD-ASS, hell even, dare I say it; STYLISH!

I see. You may think of it like that but I usually prefer my main characters abit normal at times. I've already seen a white haired, red clothed, half breed demon killer. (Inuyasha) I don't need to see another. Still, though, New Dante does look bad ass either way.

I like the anime crazy look. If I wanted to to see normal looking characters I would look at my window lol.
You like DmC Dante and that's perfectly ok, I personally will play DmC when it comes out but for the most part I'm still uneasy about it.

hey, I'm sorry, but I'm gonna end this chat here. I feel so mad right now cause of my brother and I need to cool off.
What you consider "badass" is normal in the hack/slash genre. The only way a character can be badass in gaming is if he's either dark in personality or does some crazy, near- impossible stunt that a normal person would never be able to get away with.
What you see in that trailer pales in comparison to the feats of old Dante (rides a missile (and his enemies) like a surfboard, can sit on a flaming demons tail without feeling pain, can shoot a flying set of pool balls so that they hit all of his enemies, and can pass of a bunch of attacks as if they were nothing), Bayonetta (can wield four guns at a time like a pro, can shoot a stick of lipstick like a bullet, and is considered one of the most powerful sorcerors in history), Kratos (he brutally murders all of the gods of his time), and Dante Alighieri (he killed Death itself, 'nuff said).
Naturally, I can't say with certainty that this new Dante won't make some achievements on par with these, but if Mr. Antionaides wants to keep his character away from the "over-the-top" tendencies of his predecessor, he's going to have keep his character in the "he's cool, but it's been done before" range of the scale of badassery.

Just being a half demon means your gonna do stuff that no humans or ordinary individuals can.
Well yeah, but then there are stuff that's expected and stuff that's just mind- blowing. The old Dante was mind- blowing, Dante Alighieri was mind- blowing, and we have yet to see whether this third Dante could match up with those feats.

I mean i see crazy things happen in games. Like getting stabbed by a sword and coming back up (Dante).
But it's obvious to me that would happen that way.
