DmC Preview of site the "Gameland" with new screenshots and Interview!!

And to answer your question: advertisement.

promote DmC by going to a non english game affiliated site/magazine
If you don't know what you are talking about, why do you bother, really? I study Marketing and Sales, I am second semester. THIS is definitely no advertisement. It's just confusing.

I'm guessing the hype whether good or bad, and the PR thats been questionable, that a lot of people want to know something about this game and probably want NT and Capcom to pop off the mouth again.
I still don't see the point. Looks like a cry for attention to me, to show people, they are still on the market, without revealing what they've been doing in the last two months at all. That sucks.

I honestly think NT/Capcom is more focused then ever. And the next trailer should be something to look out for, since all the recent trailers were just updates to gameplay. I think the story will not be fully revealed, but new enemy types and levels and some new characters will be the next things to expect.
Sure hope so, but when will that be? The suspense is making me... "angry"?

Thats true

Can't you find another game to hold you over for a couple of months? I plan on trading FF13-2 in for Dragons Dogma and hopefully, by time im tired of it, i'll be half way through the year!! at least i hope so.

So because your a Marketing and Sales student it automatically means you have higher thinking ability than me? Your a funny guy.
The only conclusion i can come up with them giving the interview is to advertise DmC among the readers of that magazine.

Why else would they give interviews when the world of internet is so globally connected that if something is said in Japan about DmC i will hear about it within a day in US.

I've noticed something that no one could have noticed. when ever I've gotten bored of the latest bit of news that they've thrown us, to the point were I actually say I'm bored, within a few days something new pops up.

No, it means he knows more about the topic on a professional level, because he is studying it and is going to work with it in the future.

He knows so much that he can't realize that the interviews is a way to promote/advertise DmC?

Seriously...

That you say it is like that doesn't make it so. Your opinion is not the ultimately right one. I was just saying that ReRave, due to his studies, has a more professional eye on it. I study game development and 3D, so I know a bit about marketing and advertisement, however, it is not my specialty.

That said, every interview in any magazine is a way to promote a product, in this case the new Devil May Cry, however, that doesn't mean that is the main focus of this interview. For example, Steve have compiled an interview in order for us to learn more about the game, not because he wants to promote the game. I think that's the same this Russian game magazine had in mind when they made this interview. Nothing in the interview show that it was Ninja Theory or Capcom who wanted to make this interview happened and asked the magazine "Hey, we want to promote the game, so come and interview us.", because that's not how PR works. If they wanted to do so, they would have sent an open letter to several magazines, but then it wouldn't be an interview.

If Capcom/NT has info to reveal, and at same time promote DmC - why not? It's not like both can't happen at same time. And if they don't have anything new to reveal they can still do the interview for advertisement.

For example, Steve have compiled an interview in order for us to learn more about the game, not because he wants to promote the game.
From Steve's side the interview is to get questions answered. But from Capcom/NT's point of view it's a good way to promote DmC.

Please most of the things said in the Russian game magazine interview is same thing repeated in tons of other interviews before it. If the idea with many of these interviews is to "learn more about the game", then we would have known tons more about DmC by now.
Just because Rerave is studying marketing does not mean he has a higher thinking ability than me.
It just means he knows different ways to market things AMONG others.
I guess he is overcooking his brain if he can't understand that it's good for business to give interviews to non english magazines or interviews in general.

Next time don't ask a question if you don't want a answer Rerave.

Oh, CoolDemon, I will never get you. I just said that every interview is a way to promote a product, and then you try and use that same statement against me, as if I am disagreeing with it when I have JUST SAID that's how it works.

That said, every interview in any magazine is a way to promote a product, in this case the new Devil May Cry

Look. This is what I said. Then why the f*ck do you try and prove me wrong by saying the exact same thing?! It doesn't make any sense!

No one says ReRave has a higher thinking ability than you! Though you really don't make your case any easier by calling it "thinking ability". It's called intelligence.

Yes, the things in this interview is the same as we have read in other interviews from other countries! What makes you think that the Russians have those other magazines available to them? Why would they have a, I dunno, say, a Spanish magazine available in stores? Why can't the Russians have an interview with that info in it? What's wrong with that?

It might not be news to us who are checking the internet for news every single day, but for someone in Russia who buy this magazine to read some articles might not have known these things. Just because an interview like it has been in several other magazines doesn't mean that the whole world now knows these things.

I appreciate the people who have taken their time to translate this, even if there are no news in it for us. All they did was just to tell us, the members of this forum, that the new Devil May Cry have been mentioned in a Russian magazine, in this interview, and then translated it for us to read. There's nothing more to it.

I am talking about the purpose of the interviews Capcom/NT do, not the purpose of the people requesting them. I misunderstood because of your f*cken mindset. Below:

That's what you and Rerave is saying by using education. I can come up with the same conclusion as Rerave despite not studying marketing.

I am pretty sure that DMC fans from Russia already know all there is to know about DMC through something called INTERNET. Your on it - what makes you think russian's don't have internet? And that falls back on my conclusion that giving interview to the russian game magazine is to advertise DmC in their reader base.

And that's just what i have thought, and which is why these interviews are to advertise DmC among those who are not fans or new to it.

I guess i am not as ungrateful as your setence implies.

@ Chocolateghost and others:
Thanks for translating.

You would be surprised of how many people in the world who are without internet.
And I never said you were being ungrateful, you just took what I said and turned it around so it would seem like I insulted you.

I am not talking about the world. I said that RUSSIAN DMC fans.
If they can afford buying games, then they can afford a computer.

You don't seem to know how the people of Russia have it. Maybe a Russian should inform you, because no matter what I say, you do all you can to be against me. I don't know why you are doing that, but you have proven time and time again that you have some sort of dislike for me, enough for you to speak against me every time I try to prove a point or explain something to you.

Nevermind that though, let's stay on topic.

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.................... This article confirms that DmC Dante is half demon, half angel. This Dante is NOT human so this game really rebooted the series. Maybe they should change the title to Devil & Angel May Cry. Lol My joke was lame. :p

Yup, it was. ;P
Well, we already knew it was a reboot and that Dante is a son of a Demon and and Angel, as told on the official Ninja Theory site. So yeah, nothing evidently new.

If a russian has money to spend on a game, then i am sure he/she has money to have a computer or does already including internet access.

@Angel/Demon
So NT's Dante is half angel and half demon? So he's not human?
Where does it say that?

EDIT:
Nevermind my questions. In disbelieve i asked them. NT Dante being half angel and devil sounds like a bad concept.
