DmC InsideXbox Interview

Did NT give the role to their own in view talent? I could've done a better job!! Now this may sound like a purest's "rantings" and well they are, but come on this is just BAD. Is this how the Western World views demons, and hell, and goth; and everything else demon related?
I don't care for the action because I can't get over this piece of trash NT is creating. Ok some folks might say that because of the new game play and it's new generation appeal that this game might sale well. More than likely that may well be indeed the case. But this is not Devil May Cry to me, and as a fan I'm disappointed.
This "Dante" is so different that I'm wondering how Capcom can call this "Dante" a reboot version of Dante. If anyone here is a Godzilla fan think of Godzilla. He is radio active transformed dinosaur that is so strong that he is pretty much a god. Now picture Zilla (the American Godzilla) he was SO different from his true Japanese counterpart that the "God" in his name was removed and he was "redubbed" "Zilla."
Same thing here, Classic Dante is (true Japanese) Godzilla while this modern "Dante" is (American) "Godzilla." Now I like Zilla but unless this "Dante" gets his butt beat by "real" Classic Dante I will not be happy with this Devil May Cry game. Blasphemy.

Somebody needs to take a chill pill. Don't post in a forum when angry, it just makes you look like a douchebag.
 
The whole point of a forum is to post your comments and I did just that. So I was mad, big deal get over it. Everyone on the forums knows on a normal day I am the kindest person on the forums and if I'm mad or I rant than I have a good reason behind it. Relax.

Back on topic: I'm not happy about DmC because it doesn't appeal to me.

Fair enough. I believe we are at peace now lol.
But on topic, am I the only one who felt that line from the video, "you don't fu@k with a god" to be cheesy?

It's just as cheesy as Devil May Cry have always been, imo. Like when Arius tells Lucia after having been turned into a demon "You're just a monster!". Or when Dante and Vergil points the guns at Arkham and says "Jackpot!". It's cheesy, but fitting Devil May Cry just fine.
 
But I like that cheesyness of the DMC world, that line just made me dislike DmC. Again I'm sure the combat system will be good and all but I just didn't like dmC's new angle i suppose?
 
The sword Donte is carrying with him is "rebellion".
The whole theme of DmC story is a group of punks/youths fighting against a power (demons).

Rebelling like in punk movement rebelling against goverment.

There should be no doubt about it being the "same" sword now.
 
It's a sword called Rebellion and it has shapeshifting abilities. It's not the same Rebellion that we saw in the original Devil May Cry games, just like it isn't the original Dante wielding it.

Rebellion is an awesome looking sword, while the sword used by Donte is called Robollion.
