alot of people were afraid those would be the only weapons. plus its a great thing to confirm since devil may cry is known for having many weapons, so yeah it something that's good to be confirmed. its not necessary, but its a nice thing to touch up on since alot of people were worried about this.
 
Every bit of info is nice I say. Though we shouldn't literally hang from their words. I still hold a grudge for DMC4 not having "more weapons than all the previous DMCs put together" but excluding small things like that, every new info helps for now:)
 
About the weapons in the game from what was said it sounded like only the demon and angelic forms will get new weapons and u will always have the rebellion equipped when in the standard human form.

hmmmm....good point. they did make it sound like that, i guess we will have to see how that works out. as long as i can access each weapon easily i don't mind
 
I don't trust em, any of them. Every developer says similar things about their game and it's only true maybe one of every hundred, sometimes thousand. I'm sure I don't have to tell you how many times I've heard the words deliver, unique and experience in an interview for a game, it's all of them, and tnone of them are true. The worst part is that we want to believe and we end up $60 poorer for wanting to believe.

By the way, if NT's humbled by been allowed to make the game then fine but don't go around claiming that's how it was from the beggening; the additude the director projected was one of arrogance self importance. He didn't start humble, and to be honest I don't believe that he is now, I think he's plaing it up because he was told to. I do, however belive that the experience has made the rest of NT a bit more humble for the wear, it's the director who I don't belive.

I remember the guns being called Ebony and Ivory in the trailer.

But where did they say the sword was the rebellion?

Nevermind forget that i said that im not sure anymore i think i got a theory mixed in with the facts forgive me.
But I'll still look since im not sure.

I was gonna say the same about humility thing Tameem said "We went into project with certain amount of humiliate" is all bullshit.

Well to be honest I am disappointed.

I was hoping that sword was not the rebellion since when you compare it to the original rebellion it looks like crap in my honest opinion.

Atleast ebony and ivory in this game actually looks similar to their original counterparts.

This sword looks to lame to be called the rebellion sworld IMO.

Yea the sword doesn't really look all that cool to me either but you never know it might change at some point in the game since it also says that Dante will also learn about what it means to be a Demon and an Angel his sword could change when he gets a better understanding about his powers since its possible that its still a physical manifestation of his powers like in previous games.

Not sure if there are any clear pics.

But some of the trailers shows many back shots of this Dante walking around with clear views of the entire sword.
