Dunno if this was rhetorical or not but, its a fact that this black and white haired mute is Dante. Also, the combat seems the same just reversed style system and weapons. Umm... he does have demon blood in him and thats about all i can really tell at this point. The only thing i can see that truely matters ( and that might be revealed in the game) is the mood. I dont see any kind of mood setting in DmC. 1-3 (not 4) had a RE feel to them.(not RE 4-5 the originals) Mostly the angst was from the camera being locked in compromising angles, but it was spooky!
Thats the only thing i'm mostly concerned about.
sry if i wasnt clear, u cant call every one with demon blood dante, i meant thise game is nothing like devil may cry its a totally different game every thing is changed not one thing is recognizable if they didnt tell that this devil may cry i would have thought its a new original game .
for example:
when batman was rebooted it stayed true to the back story and batman looked like batman when u look at him u know hes batman.

Nothing is recognizable? Or do you just not want to see it?
Because there are many gameplay elements that are easily recognizable so far, from what we have seen.

From the first trailer when he pulled out a black and white gun, i immediately thought of devil may cry, much like bayonetta. But it wasnt till the article that i posted that i saw much more relations with devil may cry

The funny thing about Bayonetta is that several of the DMC team members worked on Bayonetta. Think of Bayonetta as DMC with a chick, rather than a guy.

Bayonetta has guns on her feet. How is that like DMC?
Bayonetta is in its own league.

like what? the action was slow and in my humble Opinion it was dumb(when he jumps and shots the demons not to mention when he puts out hes cigaret in the demons head)nothing about it that says dante. i get that ur trying to be positive or ur a NT fan, but common be honest.

ur maybe right when he pulled out his guns u may think about devil may cry but u dont say THIS IS devil may cry(not his trad mark ebony and ivory, they were more like neros gun). im sorry for repeating but,a gain just because hes got somethings that dante would have used that dosent mean hes dante any body could use that i remember hitman had 2 guns that dosnt mean its his trade mark, its how the guns look and how he uses them that makes it his.
at best u might say its a cheap devil may cry rip off(my opinion)

I was being honest... But again, you have shown that you hang on to your opinion and won't even try and see it in another perspective. I should simply not respond to any of your posts from now on...

Like I said why not?

This game is supposed to be a DMC game.

Naturally people will want to measure it up against DMC4 which includes comparing the 2 game's graphics also.
I said that this game looks much better graphically wise than DMC4 (opinion, although it's obvious), not that people should not compare this to DMC4 .

I think its pretty obvious that DMC4 looks better graphically wise then this game.

Just my opinion of course, but It seems pretty damn obvious to me atleast.

Bayonetta is in its own league.

The gameplay style is close to DMC. Yeah, Bayonetta contains different elements then Devil May Cry. But since several team members who worked on various DMC games also made Bayonetta, there's tons a of little DMC "easter eggs" in Bayonetta if you pay close enough attention while playing Bayonetta.

The graphics in this game IS NOT FINISHED YET!!!
The trailers we have seen are footage of an UNFINISHED GAME MATERIAL!!!

So arguing wether or not if the graphics are better or worse than the past games is worthless until we have seen the final graphics.

The final graphics would have to be.Yes.The game's finished release.

I actually know damn well that the graphics are not completed.

Hence the reason why I said I hope NT plans on improving the graphics before the final product is released.

I still however felt the need to state my opinion and in my opinion the current graphics are not better then DMC4.

Maybe they will be before the game is released but as of right now they definitely are not better IMO.

bayonetta has 2 attack buttons and evade button.
the "easter eggs" are of capcom not DMC
the only comparison to dmc is how cheezy the dialog was

They PROBABLY will BE in about 3 years or what?
They could've notched it up by now, or show us more of what they've done for a FULL year?

I thought the debut trailer looked really good. Although it wasnt gameplay. And the other two trailers that i've seen both had work in progress on them. Also DMC4 was very linear and there was no interaction with anything, basicly the graphics were just painting that stood still. DmC, from what NT said, is going to have more platforming elemets and if u ever saw Enslaved, that game looked beautiful

DmC, from what NT said, is going to have more platforming elemetsl

wth does that even prove?

DMC4 had plenty of platforming in it.

Need I remind you about all those platforming bits with the Devil Bringer?

May not be perfect platforming but it is platforming none the less.

The point that was trying to be made here was the graphics.

And the fact is that DMC4 had better graphics, simple as that.

But this debate regarding the graphics is offtopic.
