Chapter 2, pg 18 continued
Waiting started to take its toll, as the clock ticked and ticked, and the only thing that filled the huge room was silence.
"Shouldn't really be long" Toni said as he came back in holding a cigarette.
"Um, no smoking here please" Vergil said.
"Hmm? At the moment I'm the boss, so it's my rules pal" Toni said.
"Okay Toni, no need to be so harsh" Dante said.
"Sorry, just words that I have been use to hearing in my life" Toni said.
Vergil and Dante looked up at Toni's right arm, he was wearing a silvery gauntlet, but that wasn't what they were looking at.

Chapter 2, pg 18 continued
However, they were noticing that, not only was Toni missing his index finger, but that a silver metal claw was replacing were the finger should be.
The claw flicked in half to reveal a lighter, so Toni lit up his cigarette and puffed away.
When Toni looked back up, he saw that Dante and Vergil were both looking at him with surprised faces.
"What's a matter? Never seen a guy smoke before?" he said.

However, they were noticing that, not only was Toni missing his index finger, but that a silver metal claw was replacing were the finger should be.

Chapter 2, pg 19
"All I can say is this. In the future you will face the hardest thing known to man and demon, the devil prince Mundus" Toni said, he glared quite strangely at the twins as if to try and scare them with his talk.
"Well how many can fight against him?" Dante said.
"As many as we can get on our side" Toni said.
Vergil stood up sharply, "You want everyone to fight?" Vergil said.
"All that are able will have to take up arms and blast back at the evil that wishes to take over our land. I know that I will be out there fighting" Toni said.
"So this Mundus, he is the main worry?" Dante said.
"Not at the moment. For now only a few will rise from hell, but be warned, the demon armies grow stronger each day, more will be released and they will plague our land like they did once before" said Toni.
"It's nice that you know all this Toni, but where exactly are they coming from? Some sort of opening?" Vergil said.
"You should know" Toni said, he was referring to the book.
"Mallet island" Vergil whispered.
"What bro?" Dante said.
"Mallet island. The gateway for the devil prince, that's where he will come from" Vergil said.
"That isn't much use, where are they coming from now?" Dante replied.

"What car are we taking? I mean, you have one right?" Vergil asked.
"Why? Have you got something else we can take?" Toni said.
"Well what do you have?" Vergil asked again.
"Just a muscle car, we only need transportation" Dante said.
"Not true. It depends on where, and, how long it takes us to get to the location" Toni said.

"We can use my chopper. I have a helicopter nestled safe on my heli-pad right now" Vergil said.
"A chopper, now that would be useful" Toni said.
"It's got a mounted chain gun on it, if that would tempt you" Vergil continued.
"I'm sold, what about you Dante?" Toni asked.
"Hell yeah, lets take the chopper" Dante agreed.
"I'll get my men to put away your car Toni" Vergil said.
"Thanks" Toni said.
Vergil left the room and walked into the grounds, when he spotted the guard at the security gate he called over to him.
"Hey you" he said, pointing at the guard.
"Yes boss?" replied the scruffy bearded guard.

"We can use my chopper. I have a helicopter nestled safe on my heli-pad right now" Vergil said.
"A chopper, now that would be useful" Toni said.
"It's got a mounted chain gun on it, if that would tempt you" Vergil continued.

"You see that red car?" Vergil said, and he pointed to the muscle car parked outside the main gate entrance. The guard looked over to the car.
"I want you to put that car in one of my garages" Vergil said.
"Right away sir" the guard said, and he opened the gates using the control panel.
The guard walk over to the car and wondered if it was locked. Although after checking, the door wasn't lock, and the guard hopped inside of the car and backed it up into the nearest garage, which Vergil opened.
Dante and Toni had come outside as well at this time, they were obviously tired of waiting for word from Michael.
"Well, luckily Mike will get back to us soon before any more demons get on the loose" Toni said to Dante as they were walking over to Vergil.
Toni chucked the car keys to the guard who then locked the car safely.
Vergil noticed that Toni was fiddling with a device in his hands.
"What's that Toni?" Vergil asked.
"It's my PDA" Toni replied.
"Fancy, so has Michael got any new info?" Vergil said.
"At the moment I am just looking through types of demons" Toni replied.

Dante peered over Toni's shoulder, but Toni didn't seem to mind.
"Hey, that's the reapers" Dante said, knowledge fully.
"Ew, they're gross" Vergil said, commenting on the reapers appearance.
"Well you probably wouldn't look as pretty in your devil trigger" Toni replied.
"Devil trigger?" said Dante, "You never said anything about a devil trigger" he added.
"That's because devil triggers not important yet" replied Toni.

"It's the demon inside of you, yours aren't that old yet I wouldn't think, so you can't transform" Toni said.
"So it's our fathers side in us?" Dante said.
"Yeah, exactly" Toni replied.
"And what changes in us when we go into these devil forms?" Vergil asked curiously.
"You'll undergo a complete transformation, and well, it's as if there are two of you, another thing inside of you" said Toni.
"Oh, so we change but we still keep our normal human selves?" Vergil said.
"Well, yeah, you are still Dante or Vergil even when you are in a certain devil form, you don't lose your other self" Toni said.
"So why don't we stay in devil trigger forever?" Dante asked.
"Because you are not a full devil, and because you are not old enough demoniacally to stay in devil trigger for long" Toni explained.

"About now it's probably a few months old I would reckon" Toni said.
"Oh, so we can't transform at all?" Vergil said.
"Well, I've actually got something here" said Toni, and he opened out his coat and reached for a green vile.

"I called it Devil's accomplice. Named that, as it helps speed up the growth of your Devil form" Toni said. He handed over the vile to Vergil, and Dante said, "Hey, why don't I get to look after it?".

"No. Only joking, probably best if you look after it bro" Dante said.

"Be careful with that stuff though, it's very rare" Toni hastened to explain.
"How did you get it?" Dante asked.
"It's collected blood from baby devils" Toni said.
"A bit cruel don't you think?" Vergil said.
"Better to kill them when they're young, saves all the trouble later" Toni said harshly, but he needed to be cruel at times.
"He has a point brother" said Dante, backing up Toni's case.
"I guess" said Vergil, "But when do we start killing?" he added.
"Starting to get impatient like me, huh brother" said Dante.
"Hold it, I have something here guys, it's the co-ordinates, let's roll" said Toni.
"Whoa, finally we can kick some ***" said Dante.
