DLC Costumes? What are you doing Capcom?

I dont understand? Is Capcom so bitter so they try NOT to sell this game? Why are you doing it? It's simply beyond any reasoning imho.

Makes me wonder if we get that stuff also, here in the west that is. Or if it is only early unlocks, which I would not mind as much.
I'll become concerned when they announce more costume pack DLC. Then I'd start boycotting stuff for sure.

Ehm man, the fact that Lady will get her DMC3 outfit and Trish her Gloria outfit has been around for a while. And it's not really that much of a big deal, considering that Dante, Nero and Vergil will have costumes in the standard copy, and most likely Trish and Lady too. Those 2 costumes are just an incentive to buy the LE.

Actually it seems like those 2 costumes and the red orbs are included in the Limited Edition's content and they're not sold as separate DLC. I don't see where the problem is.

I think they might be early unlocks, not exclusive for the Limited Edition, if they were exclusive then I'd say it would be kind of insulting, since we don't get either the LE or a pre-order bonusm, as far as we know.

It's prepaid DLC. So I'm 100% sure you get them for 10€ afterwards :/

If that's true it's still a whatevs for me personally. I'm not that interested in Gloria costume and DMC3 Lady. Especially considering that on PC you can perform model swap. Modders will surely address that.

Time will tell I guess.

lol, okay i'm sorry but this is funny.. it's like capcom is aware the original has so many fans, and news is they're on financial problem? and they will probably go "hey, we didn't do dlc for the vanilla, so this is fair for the business, this is fair for the business"

Honestly, even though I hate day one DLCs especially for remasters, you were supposed to only able to get these costumes from the few first printed copies or the LE in Japan, right? If that's the case I'm actually kind of happy they gave us an option to get these without having to import a copy.

btw, about no physical copies and for people having problem with their internet connection, don't you guys have community/shops that could facilitate the download? i don't know how installing games work in consolse, but we have that for steam here, since playing original games is extremely hard here, barely have legit retail original copies for pc, and stupid internet connection.. so some people created the community and decided to help those for the sake of original gaming.. and ofc we're going to have to pay more for the service, but it's better than having to pay for continuous "decent" internet connection..

Both the DLC and the Limited Edition are pretty lackluster.

The costumes aren't that interesting, the additional covers just seem like recycled pre-rendered artwork, and both the art and soundtrack for the game have been available for years.

Really, for the same price of the Limited Edition, you could get a physical imported copy, a copy of the soundtrack, the new DMC1 figure from NECA, and the 3142 Art Book.

The thing that bugs me, aside from the actual fact of the DLC itself not been a part of the game, already, is that the DLC is region locked. Since I'm getting the Japanese version imported, still debating if I should put up the money to get the limited edition since it might mean I don't get to eat for a few days, if the DLC code comes with the game it will not work on my side of the world. Still more complicated than that it's not clear if a Japanese copy will be compatible with western DLC.
