I've dealt with alot of idiots regarding this game and so I'll share some of the more idiotic ones and the story.

I posted a picture I drew of Kat and this was one of the responses I had. It was just so stupid I didn't even want to respond to it. On a side note I think I've now become a neo-nazi according to him.

Evidently Bayonetta was quite a work of art. It was just hiding in the fetish and borderline pornography case because a brain that wasn't just focused on bringing wet dreams to life was there. Somewhere. He almost spelled sophisticated right.

"DmC is trying to promote anarchist influences to say the government is evil."
Now this started with me jokingly replying about buying a 6 pack of Virility. Which then turned him into sounding like one of those fussy moms who complain about video games to the mainstream media. Afterwards I ripped him a new one just proving how much of an idiot he was. He couldn't seem to apply that kind of logic to anything else and talk about an oxymoron who was just looking for more things to bitch about.

There are some of my more unfortunate encounters. DmC is going to be fun and I'm just glad Dante is back.

While we're on the subject of Bayonetta; that game was was overrated as ****. Story was crap, most of the characters were unlikable short of Enzo and Rodin, the QTE's were "Press X to not die" crap, Bayonetta is a bitch from beginning to end and is almost never challenged even by the biggest bads from the impression the story leaves me with, and I'd swear the camera was out to sabotage you.

That said, my definition of overrated in this case is "this game didn't wash my clothes and poop gold for me like near every game review was making it sound like it would." I come back to that game time and again *only* for the combat gameplay, which is possibly *the best* of this generation. The game was good. The game was NOT the second coming of Super Mario Bros 3.

Most of the interviews paint NT's staff members in a negative light. The "high-class" British accents they all have don't help either. Makes them seem snooty.

It's a pity they aren't Cornish. It's difficult to sound snooty with a Cornish accent :lol:. Been wanting to upload a gaming video, but my Cornish accent is putting me off. (Point is, not all English people have stupid posh accent.)

Besides, a theme in the game is to not trust everything you are told and to think for yourself. It's not saying go wild and burn things in the street with no laws.

I didn't care much for Bayonetta myself. The story wasn't even that great but it tried to be so damn convoluted. I hate QTEs with a passion. I am rather shameless and sexual themes don't bother me in the slightest but I just have to point out seriously how fetishistic that game was. Bayonetta's look from the tight leather to glasses all the way to special moves looking like the foundation for BDS&M really just is like you're playing an action porn game. Like I said, it doesn't bother me but Bayonetta tried to act like everything featured in it was ironic but here's the thing P*, just because you're trying to be ironically fetishistic and dirty doesn't mean someone isn't going to jerk off to it.

Kinda my problem too over DoA's Kasumi, particularly when they decided to tie Ryu Hayabusa to the DoA universe. Ayane's come to justify herself in being in direct action in the later NG games and she's always had close ties in association with Ryu's missions, but Kasumi is "too innocent" to ever be apart of the brutal Ninja Gaiden world.

....Super badass ninja... too innocent to shed blood. And we're supposed to take her seriously because she appears in some chumpy-in-comparison fighting tournament??

For me, the difference between my hate of Bayonetta and love of Dante is two reasons; that he doesn't seem so overbearing ALL the time. He's a bit of a dick in DMC3, but that was his character arc. His finding direction in his life and growing relationship with Lady was pretty cool. And even then he seemed like someone you could have a conversation over a beer with. DMC4 Dante had a fun personality too. Keyword; FUN. Bayonetta on the otherhand, is ALWAYS ON. Always acting super-sexy, a bitch to near everyone she speaks to in this game, cracking bad lines that are saved completely because of her accent, and SUPER cocky no matter the challenge.

Which brings me to my second point (which also sorta goes for DMC4's Nero); she pretty much never has a challenge, closest thing being Jeanne. But then even those fights looked mostly even. DMC3 Dante obviously had problems with Beowulf, and it seems like he couldn't beat Arkham alone, who also got some good hits in on them before he got Force Edge and manipulated them rather well. I know we're here for awesome moves and cool powers, but what happened to the striving hero who is isn't so unflappable and/or has a flaw or two to overcome, and a villain that is an actual threat to contend with?

Hmmm-mm, that explains why I never got past Beowulf (HAHAHA). Plus, even though I was all for Bayonetta after getting the game and playing it through, the only positive I can now say about it is that it's a FUN game. Never had so much fun dying over and over and over (and I'm not even being sarcastic). Dying in DMC4 over and over, now that was highly frustrating. AND, I now see Bayonetta as a parody of DMC, just like how I see DmC as a sideline parody of Bayonetta. Still. A game is a game, if it's fun, I'll play it
