I just call it how I see it. If you think I am wrong in my conclusion then you are more than welcome to try and explain to me how it is then. However, seen from your post above, that is what I got from it.
That said, I do believe it is futile to discuss anything with you, but at the same time I have a hope that it will change, because I want us both and everyone else to be able to co-exist on this forum. It's a paradox, I know, but I'm like that.

I see you point and understand what you mean. As I don't care for Tomb Raider 'cause it always looked like female PoP with modern equipment and environment and different story and whatever, I'm not gonna say anything 'bout it.
I'm genuinely interested to know what differences you could find between the two Dantes? I am talking about the difference in facial features like face-cut, eye shape etc. not behaviroul differences. And Don't mention hair. So, ready to tell?

I will talk STRICTLY about the character in Tomb Raider reboot.
The first picture to left shows Lara from original games (2nd pic is same too).
The third picture is Lara rebooted.
Not only did they make an very awesome and detail looking character, but also preserved Lara's character.
That is why i like the rebooted Lara because she looks EXACTLY how original Lara would look like with nowdays graphics.

It's not the same Dante from 1,2,3 and 4 in the strictest sense, but this Dante is A Dante. It's Dante for the DmC game. Lol this discussion over Dante reminds me of Sonic's fan's anger over Modern Sonic having green eyes where Classic Sonic has black eyes lol. At least we got the HD DMC1,2,3 to look forward to lol.
Man reboot Lara looks SO much better. Now that's a female. (At least in video game terms)

And the discussion that i have done with people is not to be compared with Modern and Classic Sonic:
I see so many times people who support DmC say "Now he's got white hair - now stop bitching" as DmC's character having black hair is the problem behind why people dislike it.
Those two sonics:
Modern
Classic
Look at them. Both of them are Sonic because both have preserved Sonics character quite alot.
Again don't compare Sonic eyes with DmC's character and Dante. It's not like if DmC character and Dante difference is the white hair only.
Comparing two sonics where eye change is a noticeable difference to two characters that have many differences is so stupid.

I really don't think it's the same thing as changing the color of sonic's eyes isn't even in the same league as how they changed Dante as Dante looks unrecognizable where sonic still looks the same regardless.

I think people might have accepted the reboot better if ther were given more concrete info about it and the new Dante looked a little more like the old one tho.
