No. And we all know you just did this thread to make nDante out as weak so need to hide it.

nDante isn't an anime character. He doesn't say Japanese cool lines, shoots ki blast from his hands, or any of that anime stuff. He's a character who is more grounded and not over the top for the feel of DmC's atmosphere. He may not be shooting off sonic blast with his sword or making giant explosions with a single punch but then again, that's not the rules of his character or way his world works.

The fact that you'd pit him against a planet buster when we've only seen one game of him compared to old Dante who we've seen four games and an anime not only says how much you don't get the aesthetics of nDante's world compared to cDante's world, but also that really...you just wanna see him get beaten to a pulp all because he's not cDante.

Deadpool can take on both Wolverine and Spiderman.
Spiderman has also been beaten by opponents with less skills and powers than Dante.

Lol I actually don't know a lot about the Marvel universe, my dad used to be really into it though and he said that the first time Spiderman had a crossover with X-Men, he decimated them all and basically made them look like a pack of fools. Obviously in MvC3 they had to level the playing field a bit.

EDIT: Then again we don't know how powerful Dante would be against the X-Men do we. So my argument is pretty unfounded. I JUST LIKE SPIDERMAN OKAAAY.

No version of Dante can withstand most of that.

I do think DmC Dante could take on at least some mid level "ultimate threats" like a non-planet buster Hulk. Maybe MCU Hulk. I mean, by the end of the game Dante is quite strong with Devil Trigger mastered and all, I would say maybe as strong as DMC4 Dante. But not as skilled though.

In a stretch, I would say that maybe he could take on a Kaiju from Pacific Rim. So yeah, maybe some montain-busters, but it depends on what kind. Planet Buster though? Not a chance. I don't even understand how Bayonetta managed it in the first place.
