It's Clamp. It was a 2 part project that conjoined with xxxHolic which would intersect in plot at times.
Wait is Clamp the name of the anime and xxxHolic?? Ironically I recall those 2 names.
Clamp are female manga artist, they are responsible for works like X/1999 and CarCaptor Sakura. xxxHolic is the other manga they worked on adjacent to Tsubasa (Reservoir Chronicles).

Oh yeah! Sorry I forgot XD my terrible at remembering names and usernames. But yeah that video will help. Real insight into a guy that disliked DmC enough to make character analysis vid thingy before 6 or so months before it came out @.@ it still gives me nightmares.

And you're right, he has some good points. It's just towards the end he goes painfully off track.

i wouldn't say off track just descends into a general dislike of the whole plot but i feel the main reason people started to hate on NT could be summed up as people saw tgs 10 and their initial take as being a disservice to DMC because the changes dont feel like they fit the world and characters of DMC.
So in that his end statements make sense.

God, that tgs trailer was awful though :lol: Do you actually remember the fan reaction vids made on it? Some of them were pretty funny.

You did? Ah, I didn 't. What we saw in that debut trailer could've worked as like an original game I think, but comparing that dude to Dante, it was just too much. I'm glad they made him hotter XD but I definitely would've liked a darker tone. I really wanted that torture scene in the gaaaame :'(well i liked it

I remember there was this one on Heather from Silent Hill 3 reacting to DmC. It started out really funny with her sobbing hugging the tv, but it lost it for me when she started kicking a bloody Tameem. A party killer o_o

yeah i saw it 47 times and it led me to join sites like this.
there is a resurgence of love for that trailer because people were disappointed in the final product so guess they are just curious as to things would have played had they stuck with it.
one person youtube said the final product felt confused to her, like it was unsure of itself and that ties into hyperbithero's claim of it not meshing well.
there was this one that feel like an attempt at bullying so that scared me a bit. but the brad pit vid was clever.
Yeah, I'd of liked the smoking to have stayed ;_;
Do you think it was from all the backlash that they got scared on what to do, and that's why we got the game DmC winded up coming instead of that darker one in the first trailer?
I was ambivalent towards him smoking.
seems like it and I think I wouldn't rule out cap com pushing them too.
