Well, I definitely have questions, specially why is Jade the villinius one when the end of the first game said what it said. More than anything I'm mad that they still haven't announced a release. Last Guardian and FFXV are out in the world. This is the last of the 10+ year projects that just wouldn't materialize that I was eager to see and play.

I didnt play the original but with this being a prequel its likely to fill in some relationships and how they got to that point in that. I would say its a long way from release still but im fine with that, these huge ambitious titles need time & by time they release my kids will be older so I will have more time to actually play them.

A few people have said that, having not played the original (though I do own it) I couldnt tell you any of the back story or motivations etc but its a prequel so im guessing we will find out what the deal is with that.

I’ve only played some of the first one, myself. Oh, didn’t know this was a prequel. Might have to replay the first one and get a better understanding before picking up BG&E 2.

I just want to say, that it won't help ^^ There is no indication in first game why she appears to be evil, though she do has direct connection to the main villain in first game. So maybe it's some sort of brainswash. Though I'm beginning to doubt it's prequel tbh.

Ah, well thanks for the heads up.

Maybe I’ll still replay it for the sake of immersing myself in the style and feel of the game, if BG&E 2 will be similar in that respect.

I doubt the first BG&E will reference BG&E2. This is one of those "make **** up as you go along" prequels.

There'll be some easter eggs, but that's about it.
