Because we don't have enough Batman movies already. I'm at this point so I'm gonna say it, F*CK BATMAN.
I'm growing so sick of the freaking character. He's ****ing everywhere and hogs so much of the damn spotlight. Not to mention the character nowadays is probably the most LEAST compelling superhero DC has.

Well, cause it's a new Batman, the one in the DCEU? Technically they already rebooted the character in BvS though.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I would've have much rather had a different DC superhero movie.
But then again, I didn't care for the Nolan Batman films so I might go see this depending on how good Affleck is in BvS.

i sure hope so, the origin is a waste of duration, if they could pull-off a great batman flick reboot without involving the origin that would mean something and is a challenge..

Static has always been a childhood favourite of mine and I would love to see a movie for him.

Hoping they go the Tim Burton's Batman route, and have the hero already established, and talk about his origins over the course of the film.
As for Batfleck, well we already saw his origin, and I doubt they'll show his journey to become Batman, for one Batman Begins already showed it, do we need to see it again? It would basically be a Batman Begins remake, and secondly, I think Ben's too old to try and play his Batman younger.
I don't think it's confirmed, but I've been hearing a lot of people talk about a Under The Red Hood adaptation, which could be a thing, they've touched on that Joker killed Robin. Just an example

yeah exactly that, you've already covered everything i feel about an origin story..
glad you mentioned ben is too old for origin, didn't cross my mind..
and as for red hood, there's theory of scott eastwood is actually jason todd in suicide squad, will it make sense of connection if it went on in the batman movie? i know nothing of them

I'd LOVE to see a Static Shock movie, but I don't know if he's gotten a lot of attention these days. Maybe he could start out on TV again (Legends of Tomorrow maybe) and then work himself to the big screen.
