Yeah. He was just a little too okay with the fact that his comrades were turning into burning piles of demonic flesh in the beginning. reference to the 1st Nero x Dante fight.

I didn't pay that any mind, but now that you mention it... If I were Nero, I would've mentioned something as serious as seemingly human troops turning into Berial lookalikes. o_O

It looked even more Berial-like in earlier versions of the game, where it had an orange glow instead of a blue one. In fact, the demo at E3 a couple years ago had Nero with an orange arm. It was a playable demo, BTW.

I know! I liked the orange glow better, to tell you the truth... Made it seem more... I dunno, demonic? The blue glow gives it a weird "angelic" vibe to it for some reason. I don't really like that. Call me crazy, but the angelic demons were kinda weird. Except for Credo and the Armors, which just leaves Agnus, but still... Great, I just blew a hole in my own logic. Lovely. :|

I know the feeling. It all makes sense in your head and then you put into into words and its like, "Wait what?" I also thought the angelic demons were weird including the Armors and Angelo Credo. Although I do like regular old Credo.

Well they didnt want Nero to be too cool so they made it blue. True story... happens to the best of capcom characters.

Thanks for the laugh.

Nero is far from being one of the best Capcom characters, let alone THE BEST.

There's Leon Kennedy, Jill Valentine, Albert Wesker, Dante and some from Street Fighter and a few other games.

Chris Redfield kicks Leon's ass anyday...

But I like Steve Burnside the most. He's just too cool, especially in Darkside Chronicles.

Claire: Do you have a computer around here?
Steve: Yeah, but the guards use it mostly for games. Oh, and porn too.

X3 Nice way to talk to a girl, Steve.

 Funny.

But like I said, Steve pwns all of them, just because he's so funny. His mutated form isn't half bad looking, either.

But in a good way. If there's such a thing as a "good shmuck". :P

In terms of comic relief, he's bursting with that. Being able to tell someone I love you before he dies? Not so much.

I think another character that comes close to his epicness is Alfred Ashford, because it takes skill to miss seven times with a sniper rifle that has a scope AND A laser sight. :P

this thread has gotten way off topic but that's okay because it's gotten a little more interesting.

\oh and everybody has probably noticed this but it seems worth mentioning anyway.

nero's arm: blue
vergil's coat: blue

interpret this in whatever way you think best.

I noticed that the first time anyone mentioned Nero being Vergil's son. I think it's just coincidence. I don't like thinking that Vergil has anything to do with Nero besides being distantly related.

in my game idea there will be an event that will connect nero to yamato. with an indirect connection to vergil being the result since vergil is the owner of yamato. ( nero's slight connection to sparda will contribute to the event.)

you'll see what i'm talking about soon.

I honestly woudn't be surprised if Nero turned out to be Vergil's son. I mean just because he was an anti-social guy who didn't quite embrace his human side doesn't mean who couldn't have gotten it on with some chick and out pops Nero... (ugh... run-on sentences are bitches) I mean can you really picture Vergil dying a Virgin? I think not... maybe Lady cuz she's a bitch... though it's likely Dante has hit that. :P

I like to think Dante's never "tapped that". At least, not with Lady or Trish. Lady hates him, and Trish looks like his mother, which would probably create an instinctive "bad idea" drive in the back of their heads.
